What’s up teamRIPPED?! Another week is done and it’s FRIDAY! I love taking a trip down memory lane – wanna see some awesome results? Check outColin’s amazing results! He is still crushing it.
I often talk about goals and sticking to the process. Let’s look back on this past week? Did you feel that sense of accomplishment with each and every day you stuck to your plan? Did you slip up a bit? Now it’s time to reflect and learn from last week. Take a close look here.
- If you trusted the process (GREAT WORK!) and made it 100%, is there a new way you can push a little harder? Keep it up!
- If you slipped up on your plan, what can you do next time to stick with? What changes do you need to make to be able to feel proud, knowing you did it 100% next week?
Commit right now to having a solid weekend. So many people backslide on weekends. Get you plan ready now! Look at your food log and repeat some really good days. Know where you are going and who you will be with this weekend. Don’t let a “surprise” trip to your friends take you off course. You got this teamRIPPED! I am right there with you. Dialed in and FOCUSED!
You’ve gotta love SUMMER – It’s coming sooner than you think!
I am so glad summer is right around the corner! We are already able to do so much more outside, and isn’t that what this is all about? DOING MORE! Playing sports, exploring nature, having fun with your fitness. My family and I are gearing up for a week of summer camp that will be here before we know it!
Summer can also make it really easy to stick your nutrition. Summer is the season of grilling. So load up those grills with fresh veggies and lean proteins! Make a fruit salad too! Just be careful around some of the less helpful summer foods (potato chips, super fatty hamburgers, ice cream, etc). If you want to have some of those treats, make sure to work them into your budgets. Logging a 4 oz hamburger made of 80/20 ground beef with cheese will eat up a lot of your fat budget if you are running a deficit and Fat Shredder. You might be able to work it in, just be careful to leave enough fat for that meal.
