Target your upper body for attention-grabbing results with these 2 Additional Extreme P90X2 workouts.
Want to look good on camera? This is your workout. V Sculpt works your back and biceps, also known as the “actor muscles.” Of course it’s still P90X2, which means the exercises will all be done from an athletic stance. And, your strength gains will all be applicable to real-world movements (aside from posing for your friends on the beach).
X2 Chest + Shoulders + Tris
Give your chest, shoulders, and triceps, known as your “pushing muscles,” an extra push. By adding a stability ball and medicine balls to simple exercises, you’ll discover the body-shaping power of instability, and achieve astonishing results.
With the deluxe kit and the ultimate kit, you get these 2 additional P90X2 workouts automatically (V-Sculpt X2 and Chest / Shoulders / Tris X2). However, these 2 workouts are not included with the base kit. Luckily, you CAN order those 2 workouts separately!
Coach Wayne, I was going to buy the X2 Advanced Workout DVDs from your website but first can you tell me if these DVDs are incorporated into the P90X2 workout schedule or are they just separate workouts you can do? I already ordered P90X2 through you. Also, I was thinking about getting body gospel as a Christmas gift through your site for my mom who is in her mid 60s. Have you heard anything specific about it. Thanks.
Body Gospel is okay. I've tried a couple of the workouts live. It wasn't my cup of tea because it's lower impact and requires some rhythm (which I don't have LOL!). But it would be great for someone in their 60's, and the music is awesome!
Coach Wayne, I was going to buy the X2 Advanced Workouts through your site but I had a question. How do these workout play into the workout schedule for P90X? Are they just stand alone workouts or do they actually fit into the published 3 month schedule? Thanks.
Hey Jason, I don't know for sure since I haven't seen their final schedule. What I assume is that they fit into the month 2 calendar if you want to extend that session. Month 1 is foundation. Month 2 is strength training. Month 3 is athletic performance. But you can extend any of those sessions that you feel you want to focus on, and these advanced workouts give you more strength training days.
Sweet, now if ONLY there were a place where I could purchase some quality bands from the comfort of my own home ;) Thanks for checking btw.
Coach, Do we NEED to buy resistance bands in order to do V-Sculpt and other P90X2 exercises? Thanks!
Hey Zach, the 1-on-1 version of V Sculpt requires resistance bands. I assume that the P90X2 version will as well, but let me ask my friend who was in that specific workout and get back to you. **Update, I asked my friend Sean who was in the X2 V Sculpt and he said that yes, in order to do all the moves as they do them, you would need bands. You won't need bands for the base X2 workouts though (since this is an "Advanced workout" it can break the rules LOL!). Sean did say that you can modify the few moves that require bands if you want, but that to follow along, you would need bands.
