Notleb, BB has been working on an updated Superfoods formula. A few of my coaches were on the test panel. There's not official word yet, but it should be out by the new year. I have only heard good things. You could wait or try the Vegan. If you didn't try a recipe, remember that the add ins change any flavor a lot.

Thanks for the info Coach! I hope they can "fix" it. I think just getting rid of that ground up "vitamin" taste would be the trick. @ Natasha: thanks for the thoughts. I did try adding the cocoa and it helps, but it still tastes a little too bitter. I haven't given up totally though. :)
@Ron: The worst thing for me, as far as the new shakeology formula goes, is the aftertaste. However, when I was comparing the ingredients of the original and the new, I saw that the original contained cocoa powder while the new contained chocolate flavoring. I tried adding 100% unsweetened cocoa powder to the shakeology, (just one tablespoon), and it pretty much took care of the aftertaste! To me, it tastes much closer to the original. Just an idea. :)
Wayne, I'm trying to get away from the terrible food that I've been shoveling into my body on a daily basis.......ok to have more than one serving of shakeology in a day? Or best to stick with one and mix in some other healthy stuff. Thanks, Tim
Tim you can have two. It just gets a little pricey. Even if you have two, you should be eating a bunch of other healthy stuff!
Hey Coach Wayne: I'm not sure if you addressed this question elsewhere, but I couldn't find it: what do you think of the new "superfood" formula Chocolate Shakeology. I'm on the Home Direct shipment plan and just got the first bag of the new formula (I've been drinking the old formula for several months now). I'm not really liking the new taste. It tastes too much like vitamins and frankly, I like the sweeter taste of the old one better. I could probably get used the less sweet taste if the new "vitamin" taste wasn't so overwhelming. I keep adding extra stuff to it trying to mask the taste. That makes the supposedly healthier version less healthy again. I'm hoping they bring the old formula back as an option. Otherwise I'm probably going to stop shipment on this. At least they haven't messed with Results & Recovery formula—I get that Home Direct too, and love it.

Hey Mike! Yes, that's totally normal for the first few days while your GI gets used to the foods in it. It has a "cleansing" effect on the GI. Side note - you'll experience that same GI discomfort for a couple days if you have a cheat meal (puts junk in the GI that needs to be cleansed out), so eat clean lol!

Quick question coach, I tried the shakeology sample of the superfood formula and didnt like the taste. I'm going to go into phase 3 of p90x with shakeology no matter what so do you think the vegan chocolate formula is going to taste better to me if I didn't like the superfood chocolate formula?
