One thing I’m very proud of is that not only have I transformed myself through the Beachbody workout programs and supplements, but so has my wife Anita. We have unique insights that we share with the teamRIPPED community. While I may have started the teamRIPPED community, she has been the “woman behind the man”! It’s a family affair! And since we each come at it from a very different perspective, I believe that we can help people with a wide variety of needs to meet a wide variety of goals. I like going big or going home with the extreme workout programs and a focus on getting ripped and muscular. Anita likes to approach life with the broader focus on health and well-being, using her fitness and nutrition as tools to better enjoy life.
Coach Anita can provide tips and advice to our teamRIPPED ladies out there! She’s used P90X, Insanity, P90X Plus, Brazil Butt Lift, and Power 90, and Turbo Fire. But her FAVORITE workouts are Chalean Extreme and Les Mills Pump. If you are a lady, make Anita your coach by clicking the link below!
Coach Wayne has a great deal of experience and expertise with the hardcore Beachbody programs (P90X, P90X2, Body Beast, Insanity, 1-on-1′s, Asylum Volume 1 and 2, P90X Plus). Make Wayne your coach by clicking the link below!

hey man, just came across your site. Amazing. the thing is im really confused about the nutrition part here, i was talking to some other people and they said to find my true maintenance calorie befoe i start shredding. Upon looking at other websites, im still just very confused. Is there anyplace like facebook where i can contact you and give you my stats, if u have the time to help.ohh and i live outside the US, started doing insanity this may and gym 5 times per week. Please help. thanx
FarhanKabir You can contact me here or on FB (or email - coachwayne@teamripped.com). I think you are safe to work off of a calculated maintenance to begin with. You will be able to gauge if you have a proper deficit by how quickly you are losing weight and BF. Check out: www.teamripped.com/calorie-calculator
Dear Couch Wayne I am just getting started and trying to figure out which program I should do. I am looking at Insanity or P90X to start. I am 270 lbs 5'11'' looking to lose around 100 lbs if possible. I have not been active and sometimes can get bored a lot which makes P90X very interesting because things change day to day but Insanity with almost no money for start up equipment also sounds very interesting. Either way I was planning on doing to other after the first run I am just wondering on what you would suggest for a starter.
@Darkhand44 I'd recommend P90X. Lifting really gives you the greatest overall benefit. P90X has cardio and yoga too. Nutrition is what will let you reach your goals with any program. Check out: www.teamripped.com/p90x-schedule
Dear cauch Wayne, I am outside USA so I am wondering how is it possible to get yr advises and suggestions on my workouts! I just got insanity work out before coming by yr success story! I am pretty beginner at the nutrition part so need lots of guidance on that! How to calculate or watch the calories and BF, stuff like that! I am doing gym, so can I keep doing it with the insanity workout! I am 185 cm weight 90 I don't really wanna loose mass just need to get ripped!:) thank you in advance!
Slava1981 Definitely! You can join what I refer to as the international teamRIPPED! I coach you exactly the same, but you just don't have an official team Beachbody account. Commenting on the website is a great way to get feedback quickly and also I answer emails pretty much same day.
Feel free to email me at coachwayne@teamRIPPED.com
For a calorie goal, I would recommend starting at www.teamripped.com/calorie-calculator Insanity tends to overestimate caloric need, so I always have people go by the P90X formula. Talk you soon.
@CoachWayne Awsome! Thanx for a fast reply! So how do I register at the international teamripped? And will it be ok combining gym workout with insanity?
Slava1981 There's nothing to do to join. Just stay plugged in and use me as your coach (emails, comments, Challenge Groups, etc).
Edit: I adde you as my coach Wayne. Also i Bookmarker this page. Today is my first day starting p90x :D
Coach Wayne,
What do you do on days when you don't feel motivated to work out? I'm not there yet and have been hitting it everyday but I want to prepare myself with an arsenal of motivation for when I need it and need to dig deep. Forward planning to make sure I meet my goals I suppose!!
All the best,
Hiitit
Hiitit I think it has to be an internal motivation. I know WHY I am doing this and there isn't anything that is going to stop me. My family, health, and even the teamRIPPED Nation motivates me. I know I can't let any of those people down!
CoachWayne Its true I suppose, inspiration is all around us and its up to us to take selectively from the right pots and use this to fuel our own inner motivation.....(typed with my big toe while doing pull ups) :)
Coach Wayne, I just joined TeamRipped! I have completed P90X, and am now on week 11 of P90X2. I feel that I have definitely gotten stronger and have seen increases in my overall fitness and physique, but only started seeing rapid results when I started the fat shredder diet a couple of weeks ago. I am already pretty lean at 6'1", and about 13% body fat. I want to get to single digit body fat then start building on mass as you suggest; however, I am weary of getting too thin! Also, once I hit my goal what program would you suggest to build mass? P90X, X2, or Body Beast?
JFew, just make the goal to get ripped. Don't worry about the scale. You will look way more muscular with low BF than 5-10 extra lbs of fat. Then when you are at the BF you want, you can start slowly bulking and add lean mass. All of the programs would work, it comes down to nutrition with bulking too.
Coach wayne if your out there, I picked you to be my coach an I have been having trouble getting a hold of you. I am uner a ifferent screen name than this FB stuff. madogg1007
ScottnHeatherWestfall Best way to get a hold of me is here in the comments or through email (coachwayne@teamripped.com). FB does some weird things with messages,
I am having a serious knee issue. I asked for advice about it on FB p90x page and everyone said rest it a couple days, it is natural to be sore after first day of legs and back. so now I am on day 5 of rest. It is still stiff, sore and keeps popping. anyone else experience this? I am losing my excitement I had about this program. Hope I am not finished for good because of some perminent knee problem.
ScottnHeatherWestfall When in doubt, the best thing is to see a doctor. Get a professional's opinion. There is a difference in being sore (muscular soreness) and joint pain. Listen to your body, rest, workout upperbody, and get a doc's opinion.
Dear Coach Wayne, greetings from India ! i did try to make you my coach ... but i guess they dont have it for India yet. I'm currently doing the Les Mills Combat program by beachbody and just started my 4th week today. It's really intense and I'm really enjoying the journey, however, I find tough to stay motivated. Up till now I've been really committed and haven't missed any workouts, but i'm finding it increasingly difficult to stay in it. My results are visible but not as spectacular as I was expecting. Any tips on how to "Stay with the fight" ?
Ash, how has your diet been? If you aren't seeing results, that is the first (and like likely) place to have a problem.
CoachWayne Well coach, i'm in med school so my meals are pretty erratic ... a lot of days i dont even get in 3 good meals ... could that be an issue in weight loss ?
Ash, that can definitely effect weight loss. Are you tracking your calories and macros?
CoachWayne i am noting down my calories on this app i downloaded for my phone ... now when i entered in my data it suggested around 1500 calories a day ... and most days i kinda land around 1000-1100ish
Ash, check out: www.teamripped.com/calorie-calculator and use at least 600 for your deficit (don't go over 1000). See where it places you.
CoachWayne Yeah this came out with around 1500 as well ... i'll try it increasing my intake and let you know how it goes .. thanks a ton !!!
CoachWayne yeah it came out with around 1530 ... i'll try increasing my intake and tell you how it goes .. thanks a ton !!

julio40 Sorry I am not fluent in Spanish! I will check this out with an online translator but I wouldn't able to reply.
Coach Wayne, i was watching your result videos for a long time. And i'm really amazed by your performance. I really love P90X, i was working out for a while with it, and no wonder, i became more and more powerful, but still, i couldn't achieve my final goals, because i really don't get the nutrition part of it. I'm from hungary... but still, there is a chance that you can help me with my transformation? I would be really, REALLY grateful.
Bartholomew25 I can definitely help! Send me an email at coachwayne@teamripped.com and I can explain how the international coaching works.
CoachWayne Bartholomew25 E-mail has been sent! :) Thank you in advance Coach!
Coach Wayne I've been trying to sign up and request you as my coach but it keeps saying I already have an existing beachbody account, I don't ever remember signing up with anyone before. What would you suggest?
Stephentk Use the email you tried to get an account with and send an email to TBB. You will have to make a coach "switch" to choose me, which involves sending an email to coachrelations@teambeachbody.com telling them you want WAYNE WYATT #180334, at waynewyatt@teamripped.com to be your coach. Then CC me on the email so I can follow up with them and be sure the switch is made.
Hi Wayne i was wondering did you ever train in the morning on an empty stomach just after waking up because i am planning to start doing that as my day is quite tight to fit in a workout plus i prefer doing it straight away so it is done and i do not have chance of skipping it.
FreddieD93 I still do that actually. I am using some BCAAs during my workout for some fuel for my muscles, but I work out on an empty stomach.
Hey Wayne. I've been reading your site for a while, and after seeing your transformation and all the people you've helped and inspired, I'd like to join teamRIPPED and have you as my coach. I want to order P90X on here so that you get the credit, and focus on getting in the best shape of my life! I also created an account on MyFitnessPal, ordered and just received a cool Timex HRM, digital good scale, and I see the Bowflex 552 dumbbells on Amazon for $299. I have a pull-up bar, and pretty much all that's left to order besides the dumbbells and P90X are the Powerstands. Would you recommend them? I look forward to hearing from you, and can't wait to get started!
SolidS90 Yes, Powerstands are a great tool. Increases your range of motion and keeps your wrists safer. I would definitely recommend them.
CoachWayne Sounds awesome, I will order them and P90X this afternoon! Thanks Coach Wayne!
Hi, Wayne. I travel weekly for work. Some hotels have weights and others don't. Do you find the bands have good results vs weights? Thanks....
@Mikey445 Bands can have great results. Focus on the contraction and really squeezing each rep. Like any other time, traveling included, nutrition will play the biggest role in your transformation.
Coach, I have to say that what impressives me the most about you, is not just your dedication and results, but that you continue to be active on your site, and answer questions. A true coach. My current coach is not quite so dedicated, so consider me a convert. I just finished up round 1 of P-90x this week, and went from 200lbs to 173lbs...a bit too much, IMO. I was a little unsure of what program to take on next, but your posts (bulking, P90x2, etc) have helped me choose the continued path. Thanks. Keep it up!
