My Review of the Deluxe Package:
You already know how much I love the Insanity package. I bought the base Insanity package originally, but after reading about these extra workouts, I just had to check out the deluxe workouts. Let me tell you, they ROCK! The MAX SPORTS INTERVAL workout is FUN!! It’s 55 minutes of sports related drills (boxing, football, basketball, track, gymnastics). If you are an athlete, you’ll love this one. The UPPER BODY WEIGHT TRAINING is so good that I’ve substituted it for one of my resistance days on my Hybrid Workout that I’m currently doing. This workout mixes weight lifting with some of Shaun T’s famous cardio moves between sets just in case you thought you might get to rest! The Insane Abs really is INSANE! It’s over 30 minutes long, and much harder than the Cardio Abs from the base package. This leaves me hurting! … In a good way, of course! The 3 DVD’s that come with the deluxe package are probably my 3 favorite of all Insanity workouts.

Then you might just complete the hardest workout program ever put on DVD. Shaun T will push you past your limits with 10 workout discs packed with plyometric drills on top of nonstop intervals. No equipment or weights needed.
The secret to these results: MAX Interval Training. Shaun T took traditional interval training and flipped it on its head—you perform long bursts of maximum-intensity exercises with short periods of rest. The result: Get the most insane body in 60 days.

Chris, right here: http://teamripped.com/programs/insanity-2/fast-and-furious
Hi Coach, I've just signed up and am looking forward to starting my Insanity workouts. I was wondering what order I should start the DVD's. Also what are some good nutritional advice on what to eat before or after a work out. I weigh 240 lbs now and am looking to get to between 185 and 195 within 6 months.
Hey Trevor, start here: http://teamripped.com/getting-started Make sure you read everything you can about nutrition. Results will come from tracking your food and watching it closely. Check your box, you will have the Insanity wall calender in there, it will lay out Day 1, 2, 3,.... 60! Dig Deep!
thanks for clearing things up for me. also i would like your advice for somebody who doesn't have the luxury of buying fresh food all the time
Michael, flash frozen vegetables can save almost all of the nutritional value of the vegetable. Watch out for canned though. Eat what is in season too. Do you have any farmer's markets near by?
was looking on beachbody.com and seen the insanity deluxe package but was priced at 119.99 how come yours cost more
Hey Michael, the $119.99 is for regular Insanity, not the deluxe package. The price is the same through either beachbody.com (where you were looking) or through teambeachbody (which is where you order through if you click my links). The main difference is that if you order through teambeachbody (me) you get the bonuses (like the fast and furious dvd).
hey coach, i was wondering is it true if you workout on an empty stomach you will start loosing muscle mass? If you use a pre-workout supplement does that rule still apply? Thank you
Yes Mo, your body is more likely to go into a catabolic state (using muscle for energy) if you work out hard on an empty stomach. That's why you should either have something before your workout or during your workout to fuel yourself. I workout on an empty stomach so I use a BCAA drink during my workout for fuel. Pre-workouts don't count as fuel for energy. They are stimulants but not something your body can use for fuel (like protein or carbs).
I am running approx 1500 cals per day, i haven't measured body fat yet which is wrong not to do so as this would be the way to see results. I am wanting to lose the "chunky" look and gain a more defined/ripped look. I know it's early days and i plan to keep with it, i guess i was just hoping for some signs a little earlier! Once i have completed my 60 days of insanity i plan to do the P90X program as i want a spot in your "hall of fame"! I'll keep you posted from this side of the pond
Hi coach i'm on day 14 of insanity and have pretty much got my diet nailed to 50/30/20 as per the fat shreader from P90X, but if i'm honest i haven't started to notice any difference when should i start to expect to see some visable results?
Hey Andrew, everyone is different, so that's hard to say. What results are you wanting to see? Fat loss? Are you measuring body fat %? Are you running a calorie deficit like I describe in the "dialing it in" section of my nutrition tips?
Hey Coach, I am a female about to start using the deluxe videos but I was wondering if you could suggest maybe a sample week using the three dvd's. I'm unsure what the best way is to space out the three workout and what to substitute them for. Thanks.
Hey Lindsay, you should do the Upper body weight training 2-3 times per week, subbing it for different workouts in the usual sequence (rather than always subbing it for the same one). And with Insane abs, obviously sub it for cardio abs and I'd say rotate between them. And with Max Sports, the same thing, sub it for variety but don't always exchange it for the same thing.
Hi Coach Wayne, Per the above replies is this still part of the Deluxe (Max int. training Insane abs Upper body weight training Mat BF tester and 2 months R/R formula) ? I didn't see anything for the R/R formula...is that the Recovery Formula?
Hey Bulldogz, from time to time BB changes what's in the kits (like R/R vs a jump mat, etc). What's in that description and pic above is the way the kit is structured. To verify, just click the link that routes you to TBB and you'll see the full description as it is sold currently.
What muscle groups does upper body weight vid work and is it ok to do mon, weds and friday. 3days a week and 3days of cardio tues, thurs and sat.. Sunday off trying to make my own insanity delux hybrid... For getting ripped to shreds...lol.. Does this sound good?
Sure Putt, that's fine. Upper Body Weight Training works Shoulders, Chest, Bi's and Tris, with some abs and cardio as well.
Hey coach, I know this thread is older, so I just want to make sure that all of the workouts, the mat and 2 months of R/R are still included. Sounds like a pretty good deal. Max int. training Insane abs Upper body weight training Mat BF tester and 2 months R/R formula Scott
Coach Wayne the mat that comes in this deluxe edition is it the $90 one they sell separate or just a regular one? Thanks in advance?
Hey Jordan, the mat that comes with Insanity Deluxe is the "Jump Mat", which is $59 if you buy it separately. On Teambeachbody, look under "Equipment/Gear", and then "P90X gear" to see it sold separately.
Hey Coach, Im on week 2 of Insanity Workout. I am 6'3" around 240lbs. I was wondering how long it would probably take for me to start seeing physical results. Thank you
Hey Chris, this pretty much sums up the answer to your question: http://teamripped.com/seeing-results
Yeah i did, found it on ur page. also cheaper with my coach discount! lol if i want to replace my P90X cardio days with Insanity Workout would u recommend buying all 13 disc? thats wat i was planning on doing neways..i mean y not right?
Oh, okay! I just answered you anyways LOL! I hope you found it the same way (adding the $120 10 DVD set and the $45 3 DVD upgrade).
is there any way to buy Insanity Workout + the 3 bonus workouts without purchasing the jump mat, body fat tester ect.?
Hey Gerry, yes there is. You can buy the 10 DVD set here: http://teamripped.com/programs/Insanity Workout -2/Insanity Workout and the 3 Bonus DVD's here: http://teamripped.com/programs/Insanity Workout -2/3-dvd-deluxe-upgrade That would be a total of $165 for the 13 DVD's (vs. $239 for the Deluxe package). Hope that helps!
Hmmm. That's odd. Call BB and let them know. They should correct it right away. Either that or they were shipped in separate packaging and just haven't arrived yet.
Hey Wayne I bought the Deluxe package from you and did not get either of the 2 Recovery formula's that I was supposed to get. What do I need to do to make sure I get these?
When do you recommend to do Upper Body Weight Training, what days?. Yeah I'm not doing P90X hybrid, yet!
Depends on how intense you want to make things. If you want maximum intensity, sub it for the recovery days! Otherwise, sub it for one of the other days.
How would I add this to my Insanity Workout calendar, what should I substitute them with? Because I really want to burn fat and get ripped. After these two months I'm planning to do P90X aswell, Thanks man
Hey Coach, is there a way to buy the fast and furious on its own?
