If I’ve referred you here, congratulations! You’ve been diagnosed with an acute case of WHINY BABY syndrome. Waaaahhhhh!!! These workouts are hard. Sticking to your diet is hard. You don’t “feel like” working out. Booooo Hoooo!
The remedy ….
I’m prescribing you a heavy dose of prescription strength “SUCK IT UP”! It’s to be taken 3 times per day on an empty stomach, for the next 90 days. Doctor’s orders.
Have a nice day :-).
Oh, and don’t forget to BRING IT!!!
If you’d like some reference material to read while you get over your current state of whining and complaining, might I suggest the following articles =
Gil_1975 Take that crankiness out on your workouts! Get after it and "do your best and forget the rest." Glad you have a clean bill of health.
Hey Coach Wayne, I'm feeling really sore after my first day of P90X. Any suggestions on how to relieve the pain. (My first time working out intensely with weights)
Matt, just push through. Everyone is sore! Make sure to stay hydrated, do the warm up and cool downs, and if you have R&R it can really help too.
This forum has been going thru my mind at 4:45 am each morning this week as I get started on the X. Instead of hitting snooze, I can hear you saying "just do it!" Thx!
I have had my left kneecap relocated with cadaver tendons and i'm left with little cartilage in that knee (if I was not in my 30's it would have been replaced on the spot)... The other needs the same surgery and I still bring it every day. On top of that I have arthritis (or so my doc said) in the left knee as well. I have used my knees as an excuse for to long, I just have to put my big boy pants on and lose this weight! Thanks Coach Wayne for all of the info on your site, it has really helped me.
AWESOME!! will copy this to hang up at work for when people bitch and complain as they scarf cheeseburgers!!
This is awesome!!! Now I have somewhere (a link) to send my lazy friends when they need a kick in the backside.
Oh my goodness, I just about peed my pants. Hilarious! I'm so thankful that you actually say that. My pastor at church says all the time, "If nothing changes, then NOTHING CHANGES!" If you want it bad enough, you WILL do it. Period.
Suck it up!!! If a ripped body came so easy wouldn't everyone have one?! Dig deep and push hard!!! No excuses!!
Found a video that sums it up. What's your excuse? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=obdd31Q9PqA
LOL. I almost felt of my chair. I said: "EXCUSE ZONE.." I thought we had none and short enough, we have NONE!
Hey Coach, I'm wirting because I seem to be in some sort of a slump. I was doing great from December through January and I slowed in February when I went for my routine check up and came up with an abnormal EKG. I was told to stop lifting any weight and strictly do cardio. Well because I got nervous I stoppped completely and didn't continue my workouts. Fortunately, I have been cleared by the cardiologist but, I am having problems getting back into it. I put back on about 4 lbs since then and I have gotten back into some bad habits. I have no excuses and know I just need to "bring it" but, I can't seem to get motivated. I've been tired and cranky lately and I attribute it to the return to my old bad habits. Any suggestions to help me get a kick start?
