Briefly describe your PC experience. What were you highs? Were there any lows over the 90 days?
This was the first time I participated in a fitness challenge group and it was a fun experience. I had already been tracking my nutrition for several months before the group but I thought it would be fun to share the experience with others. I had definite highs and lows in my personal motivation throughout the challenge, but they were not necessarily due to the challenge. Just the normal ups and downs of any fitness regiment. I liked seeing others results throughout the challenge and it kept me motivated to always bring it. I did not really like the restriction on not changing calories for two weeks. I understand why you wouldn’t want people changing too frequently, but because of that, I made drastic increases and decreases as I moved through BB so that I was not leaving anything behind. Overall it was a fun experience and I plan on continuing my perfection even now that the challenge is done.
Anything you are super proud of or want to share?
Thanks to Wayne and David for all the work they put in to keep this group going!

Briefly describe your PC experience. What were you highs? Were there any lows over the 90 days?
My fitness story began four years ago right before I turned 50. I had just learned that for the first time my cholesterol level was over 200 and my weight was around 210. Through walking and dieting I got my weight down into the mid 180’s. It is at that time I learned about P90X and Team Ripped. I joined the Misfit Challenge and had great results, I then did the X2 challenge group and was in great shape, but my weight was down to 165 and rather than becoming “ripped”, I became “stripped” of muscle. I continued working out and remaining in a calorie deficient and by the end of two years I was down to 155 and looking sickly. It is at that time I just gave up in discouragement.

Then this summer, as I was back up to 195 I realized that the more important goal was health, rather than being “ripped.” I lost over 10 pounds in 5 weeks using P90 and decided to join the Perfection Group. I switched to Body Beast and religiously follow the Book of Beast which says, “low-balling carbs for prolong periods will only inhibit your performance and break down muscle, so make sure to keep the Beast Phase to 4 weeks max.” Never again will I remain in a calorie deficit for more than four weeks, I have seen what that does to my body.

I am pleased with my results, I went from 12.7% body fat, down to 11.1% without losing too much muscle mass. I saw the greatest gain in my shoulders which went for 19.5 inches to 22.25 inch. My neck also increased from 15.25 to 16.5 inches! As the Beast says, “If you want big traps, say ‘I don’t know’”! Although I only lost 6.8 pounds, my waistline is 2 inches smaller. Loved the accountability, I know I would have tripped up a number of times if it was not for the group.

Briefly describe your PC experience. What were you highs? Were there any lows over the 90 days?
*I’m sure I miscalculated my starting BF because I just got a trainer and he did a 9 point calibration. It is 28, which he said was a good number for a 61year old female. We are aiming for 24. My biggest high was measuring my waist and seeing that I lost 4 inches there! Also the comments from family and friends. This was the best experience and a great way to be held accountable! Especially through the holidays!
Anything you are super proud of or want to share?
I’m very proud of having this goal and succeeding.

How many inches did you lose in all?
I didn’t track total inches but my waist/pants went from 34 to 30.
Briefly describe your PC experience. What were you highs? Were there any lows over the 90 days?
I thoroughly enjoyed being part of this group. It kept me engaged and I found having an entire group going through the same thing I was going through helped me to stay focused. Also, it gave me a great sense of determination knowing that only the strongest would finish.

I didn’t really have any highs or lows. But going on vacation to Las Vegas and living on protein shakes and tuna wasn’t easy. Actually, it has been harder on my wife and kids because I haven’t went out to eat with them for 90 days and they’re getting pretty tired of having to cater to my nutrition needs. :)

Anything you are super proud of or want to share?
Yes. I set my own personal record for the most pull-ups without a break. 20!!! When I first started, I could only do 3. (And those 20 were Tony Horton pull ups, not cross fit pull ups!)

Briefly describe your PC experience. What were you highs? Were there any lows over the 90 days?
Taking part in an event that requires such a high amount of obedience forces you outside of your comfort zone and into the results zone. Without the accountability of daily check-ins and FB group interaction, I would have struggled to stay on track and finish strong. My goal is for a “PERFECT” 2016 with results worthy of being on stage.
Anything you are super proud of or want to share?
Weight: 189 lbs. | 172lbs. Right Arm: 16.5 | 15.75 Left Arm: 16.0 | 15.25 Chest: 44.0 | 43.5 Right Leg: 22.5 | 22.5 Left Leg: 32.5 | 22.5 Waist: 36.0 | 33

Goal: My goal was bring my weight down to 175 and my waist down to 32. I exceeded my weight loss by 2 lbs. and almost hit my target waist size.
