Hi Wayne. When you reached your target body weight on a deficit on the fat shredder ratio how did you switch up to maintenance level ? Did you change your macro ratio up straight away to give you more energy or did you gradually increase your calories first on fat shredder and then start introducing more carbs til you got to the correct ratios? Also been reading a lot recently about intermittent fasting and would like to know your thoughts on the subject. Thanks for all your advice Wayne keep up the hard work. All the best Daren.
Daren, I didn't really have an ideal weight. I was going for an ideal BF%. I first just switched my macros to 40/40/20 still on my deficit. Then I worked up to maintenance on 40/40/20 and did the next round at 3000. Losing some fat and gaining muscle (slow process but I was so close to my BF% goal that was ok). As for IF, I have heard of it and read it. It may work for some people, but I think people view it as a short cut. I don't like the idea of leaving your muscles without fuel for that long. I know what I have done works, so I stick to it.
Coach, I've done my homework(read almost every single article via TeamRipped) and I am on Day 10 of P90X and the results are already awesome! Im going all the way and I hope to pull in a win for TeamRipped!

I just wanted to let you know that I did read the document about "rules" from the site but I didn't quite understand. I get the part that you have to win the monthly and then those people are considered for the quarterly then final etc but Are you then just supposed to keep submitting every month? Hey Bonnie, the Beachbody Challenge isn't a set "month" or "90 days" or whatever. The idea is that people start a program, work toward their goals, and submit their progress (could be 90 days, 180 days, a year, whatever). People vote on the stories and results they see and each month a person is selected from each age group as the monthly transformation winner. People are doing all sorts of different programs and have been doing them for various lengths of time. That is all taken into consideration for what impresses the people the most. Basically, what you need to know is to take those day 1 pics, get going on your transformation, and let the fact that there are prizes available be an extra source of motivation to help you bring it. Simple!
Hi Coach Wayne, I'm looking into taking the challenge. Last time I tried to sign up a few weeks ago it told me I couldn't because I'm in Canada. I'm going to use the number you gave to someone in one of your responses to check further. When I went to the site though I noticed a lot of the the quarterly winners had been doing their programs for well over 90days to reach their results. How does this work in terms of submitting your entry? In terms of a current challenge. Is is based on only the changes during the allotted challenge time? I'm assuming not. Or is it over all changes and progress? Does each challenge simply take into account your changes during that challenge or since the beginning or your BBody journey if it started before the current challenge? Thanks! Hey Wayne, another 'Q. I looked for it on your website ,didnt find it. What are better for diet, pinto or black beans?? Thnx in advance......... I made 1900 cal. diet plan and it came out to: [fat:25g/protien:251g/carbs:141g] I AM on the fat shredder plan,is it good or not. Shud I increase a bit more fat ??? or is it at a good level.?
Hey Rick, pinto and black beans are very similar, so either is fine. Those macros look just fine. The fat is a little low, but that's fine. I always run less than 20% on fat as well.
In your 1900 cal. sample diet. What do you mix the 1.5 scoops of whey protien with, in your 2nd 'P.M. Snack
Hello coach wayne, if I go to school, for lucnh ,do you have any good 'low carb high protien foods, that wont "smell" eg.tuna,fish...so I can still eat healthy at school.

Hey Cindy, the BB challenge is open to anyone who can set up a TBB account (which includes the US and certain parts of Canada, but not all of Canada). Stay tuned because BB is trying to expand into all of Canada as well as Mexico this year, but governmental red tape makes the process very slow.

We started January 2nd, so you'd only be a week behind, we are linked in on My Fitness Pal to in a group we can get you in to help there as well. Hey Wayne, I just wanted to thank you for your articles on Shakeology and Results and Recovery. I received mine last Friday (12/3) and I'm feeling results already. I've been on the fat shredder diet for a little over 2 months now and occasionally I'd have cravings that would drive me nuts lol. Those are long gone since Shakeology, as it fills in on all of the missing nutrients I need. As for the Results and Recovery, it keeps me running 100% despite the calorie deficit. Before, if I pushed really hard on a work out, 3-4 hours later I'd be a little droopy, and the following workout I wouldn't be able to push as hard. I've noticed now I've been able to push even harder during the workouts, increase my weight and rep count, and not feel burned out for the next workout. It's really amazing and I can't thank you enough for your effort and willingness to help. Thanks again, Zack.

Hey Selesia, the challenge packs are still available. Perhaps their system is having a glitch at the moment. Try it again tomorrow and see if it works (maybe cyber-Monday got the best of them LOL). The packs will be available for the remainder of the year.
Hey Travodu, you simply go through the coach signup process (click this link if you are interested = https://teambeachbody.com/signup/-/signup/coach?referringRepId=59283) and then during the signup you will have the option to purchase a challenge pack. If you purchase the challenge pack, you will not be charged the coach signup fee. If you say "no thanks" to the challenge pack offer, then you would still be charged the usual $39 coach signup fee. Waiving the coach signup fee is just an added incentive for those planning to get on a workout program and Shakeology monthly. It saves you money. The coach account will cost $14.95 per month starting month 2, just like it would otherwise.

Hey Mike, that means your photo size is too big (notice in the area you are uploading that it will say something like "photo size 750KB max" or something like that). You'll need to re-save your pics at lower resolution so they can upload.
