Home Gym – Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3
I sure hope you have enjoyed seeing the many different places that members of the teamRIPPPED Nation work out. They range for the very simple and efficient use of a living room to the all out dedication of entire rooms for the super home gym. This final edition will mainly include the basement workout spaces and the garage. Many people find that they need an unused space to workout. Normally, the basement and the garage are two available options. I have really tried my best to include all of the submissions… so if they didn’t fit perfectly in a category, I have include them here!
The Basement and Garage Home Gym
David D – Very cool garage set up. Take a look at his pull up bar. Cool addition of a neutral hand hold pull up station. His programs are also saved to his computer for easy access. Nice touch!
Dominic S – Out back in the garage is where you will find Dominic working out. He’s made a spot for himself and it works well! And people probably think that TV is there just to get out of the house…
Vivek – has been around teamRIPPED for a while! He brings it in his garage. He has some big plans for improving his home gym, but it gets the job done as is. Another Stud Bar too! Very nice.
James R – Another home gym in the garage! No cars are allowed in this one! Completely set up to knock out the toughest workouts. James has even added two ropes. Great set up!
Joe P – 552s and 1090s! Oh and some real dumbbells too! Joe could crush some killer drop sets! Great rubber flooring and a fixed pull up bar. This home gym is dedicated to working out.
Joe V – knows how to bring it! Another Asylum Legend!! Quite possibly the coolest looking home gym in the entire teamRIPPED Nation. Fantastic set up!
Karen – This basement home gym has some serious equipment. Full power rack and a stand a lone pull up/dip station. Lots of plate weights too. You could get Beasty with all that gear!
Kyle S – Nice flooring is a common theme for the garage home gym. Working out directly on concrete could get painful! Kyle has taken half of his garage to create a great function home gym. Nice work!
Matthew B – It is easy to miss neat gear when a room is so neat and organized. Matt has a fixed pull up bar and a nice storage solution in the corner.
Paul Z – Complete basement home gym. Two racks of dumbbells, bench, fixed pull up bar… Even Ali is on the wall for a little encouragement and motivation!
Tyler P – brings it in the basement. It is amazing how much of a world-class workout you can get with some dumbbells, a pull up bar, and a place to play some DVDs. Nice and out of the way.
Tyson F – has a pretty sweet garage home gym. It is set up for multiple people to work out at the same time. He has the same pull up system I have, and strung 2-P3 Systems together to have a place for more than one person to do a pull up at once! Nice!
Pio Y – Talk about a nice set up. Pio’s home gym is in the garage and it is hard to beat! Everything you need and super organized. WOAH!
Steve M – yet another guy banished to the garage for his home gym! But we make it work! Steve uses Power Blocks and has even re-purposed his child’s Hulk backpack for weighted pull ups. Now that is resourceful!
Mike T – has the basement all to himself. He stashes a lot of his gear away and has ample room to work out. Bringing it!!
Jerry B – A basement is a popular choice. Now it is a little challenging for Jerry. He’s 6’2″ and the ceiling is only 7’2″. That doesn’t leave much room for plyo, but he makes it work! If he has to relocate for plyo, he is still way ahead with his home gym the rest of the week!
Randall W – has a really nice garage home gym. See for yourself! It has it all and awesome storage solutions!
Home Gym Wrap Up!
This has been quite a journey. Lots of downloading and uploading of photos! I hope you enjoyed taking a trip across the teamRIPPED Nation and getting a glimpse inside the home gyms of our team. Maybe you even picked up an idea or two on how to make your home gym better. Don’t waste any time wishing you had someone else’s set up though. No matter what you have, you can still Bring It with the best of them. Do your best and forget the rest!
