Home Gym – Part 1
Your home gym submissions have been fantastic! There has been such a large response from the teamRIPPED Nation that I am going to be breaking this apart into multiple posts. Make sure to check back after this initial post for more parts to our series. In fact, we can call this week “GYM WEEK” because there was simply too many great ideas for just one article.
The Classic Beachbody Home Gym
I know what attracts a lot of people to Beachbody and their programs is that they all can be completed with minimal equipment and very little space. All you need is a place to play your DVDs, some bands or dumbbells, and maybe a pull up bar. That classic set up is what so many people use to get going, and if it is working for you, there is no reason to change your system. Let’s take a look!
Brent G – Minimalist Home Gym – perfect use of space! Note the pull up bar and selectable dumbbells. All that you need to make it happen.
Grace – Coming to us from Australia! Grace is crushing it in the K.O. P90X group. Here is her home gym set up. Even has her plate ready for Chest/Shoulders/Tri!
Jorge R – X2 has a lot of gear, but keeping in front and center won’t let you forget to do work! All you need is a doorway, weights, some balls, and X2 is yours!
Nathan M – Has brought a lot into his home gym. There would be no doubt to the guests in his house that he Brings It! Make sure to click on that photo and enjoy the panoramic view!
Drew B – has a very minimalist’s approach to his home gym. He has bands, a tension system, and pull up bar. Nothing is stopping him from getting results. He is a Type 1 diabetic and is out to inspire others that also have diabetes.
Ben A – Ben and his wife have committed to the lifestyle. They still workout in the living room, but with Ben doing Body Beast there is a bit more equipment to store (or hide!). Take a look at his awesome storage solutions.
Geraldine L – has a compact set up. She shares her room with her sister. Fortunately her sister is ok with her workouts and home gym gear. Just goes to show you that you don’t need much space to get a world class workout.
Ollie H – Is this a dining room or a home gym? There comes a time when you get so much that you might need a fully dedicated space. I think Ollie is close. Take a look and see!
Teresa M – Set up her home gym in the living room for some serious work! One benefit of working out in the living room is that you are an example to the rest of your family. They are constantly reminded of how hard you are working.
FalseHope – All the gear you need for X2! Even a place to keep that big balance ball from rolling away.
Take these ideas for your Home Gym
So now you should have some ideas, and at least see that you don’t have to have a dedicated room for these workouts. They really can be done anywhere with very little space and equipment. So turn that living room into the best home gym around! Then after an hour or so, slide your weight under the couch and get on with your day. Coming up next, fully dedicated home gyms! Make sure to check back for Part 2 and Part 3.
