What a week! Can you believe that next week at this time it will be MAY 1! WOW! Summer is coming up fast!
How are y’all doing? Are you still loving the Midweek Motivation posts I run each week? I started the Midweek Motivation just about 2 years ago now. I love having a blog each week dedicated to some visual and mental motivation because those quotes and those images of what I WANT to achieve are the things that keep me pushing forward when I’m most tempted to quit. I hope you find it helpful as well.
Last weekend I got to something really special. For my son Luke’s 10th birthday, we had a little father-son trip. It was just the 2 of us for a few days of riding dirtbikes in Arkansas! What a special trip! It was epic! I’m so proud of him. Luke has done a lot of riding through pastures and around at our land, but mountain trails with rocks and elevation are a whole different animal. The first day was slow going for a while, but as he got more confident he kept doing better and better. He laid it over a dozen times or so, but always popped up, picked up his bike, regrouped, and was ready to keep going. It was a great builder of his manhood to conquer his first dirt bike trip! I really want to go back and take the girls on the razor or 4 wheelers. So much fun!!These are some memories that I will cherish!
Push to Summer!
How are your goals shaping up for summer? You know that this is the time to make it count, right? I am right there with you. I have been dialed in for a slow cut for a bit now. It’s a lot harder mentally than bulking. But before we know it, summer will be here. No one gets out of shape overnight and likewise, no one gets ripped overnight! So put in the work now. If your streak of tracking is alive and well, keep it up! If you need a kick in the pants, maybe the EXCUSE ZONE is a good place for you. But don’t get upset with the results you don’t get from the work you didn’t do. Let’s set some goals and crush them teamRIPPED!
