“For once in my life I can finally say I have completed P90X. I would always end up quitting halfway through and thought “I’ll never get fat”. Well that all changed when I started drinking beer and liquor and becoming what I thought may have been a social alcoholic. I’m lucky if I drink more than 2 beers in a given week anymore and I really decided to do what was best for me. I’ve become addicted to living a healthy lifestyle. I still have a lot of work to do on my body but here is P90X Day 1 vs Day 90. I started off at 220lbs and weigh in this morning at a staggering 177.6 lbs which I haven’t weighed since college! If you want something bad enough, go get it, and let the impossible become possible…”
And since TIME marches on for all of us, why is it that not everyone gets to their goals or has success? It’s either the HARD WORK factor or the CONSISTENCY factor. Which one is harder for you? Are you the type who can bust it hard, 100%, for a while but then you burn out and lose all the momentum you gained? Or, are you pretty good at plodding along consistently, but you never really push yourself hard enough to see real change?
For most people, consistency is where they fall. As soon as the emotional desire to do something goes away, they stop. What a shame! Push through! Subordinate your desires to your deeper purpose. KEEP PUSHING!

Labor Day is Coming… will you be ready?
How is everyone doing with their nutrition? Labor Day weekend is almost upon us, and it’s yet ANOTHER in the litany of American holidays that have been hijacked. It seems that at least every month, we have a holiday that has devolved into a feeding frenzy / pig out fest. How did this happen? But there is time to get your game plan locked in! I am starting early this year and encouraging you to plan for success!
How about instead of grilling up 1000 calorie brats and weenies, and pounding them back with beer and chips, we exercise some discernment and grill some chicken breasts, slice up a bunch of veggies for finger foods, and enjoy an outdoor activity like some flag football or a trip to the lake. I know, I’m preaching to the choir because you all actually stop to consider your health and well being. But it’s crazy how much in the minority we are! LOL!
Anyways, everyone in teamRIPPED nation — have a GREAT weekend! Keep pushing play. Keep bringing it! I appreciate all of you for being part of our team!
