Did you week move as fast as mine LOL?

Where did this week go! I am pumped up from Summit still and this energy is showing me so much I need to do for my personal fitness and for y’all on teamRIPPED. Projects that I had going for the team are getting much needed attention again. It is going to be good!

Physically, I am feeling great! The Summer BOD Challenge is just what I needed and I am so glad we are in the strength phase. Great Beachbody lifting is going down. On top of that, I have some new focus. I signed up to do another Spartan Race with my buddies! So I need to make sure I am 100% so that I can run my best for that race. AROO AROO!

If you have never done a Spartan Race or any OCR (obstacle course race) you should check them out! From my experience, the Warrior Dash is the best entry point if you are concerned with your fitness level. They are like easy 5k races. Lots of fun obstacles but very manageable. The Tough Mudder races definitely kick it up and focus really heavily on the team aspect. So you will want to run a TM with a team. Personally, I have loved the Spartan Race Series the best. Great obstacles, tough terrain, and really well run. I have always felt safe and have always been challenged beyond what I thought I could do. Be Patient and DO WORK!

One of the great speakers from Summit was Gary V. If you haven’t heard him, he speaks some truth. **Careful around the kids, he’s got a foul mouth.** But at BB he kept it clean and just spoke about what it really takes to be successful.

What jumped out to me was him hammering on patience. The vast majority of us (myself included) are not patient. We want it NOW! But with anything, it takes time. It takes HARD work. No one does 3 days of P90X and is ripped. No it’s 90 days or more of bringing it. 90 days or more of perfect nutrition. 90 days or more of maximizing your results. Plain and simple, most people give up. That’s why we still have an obesity problem in America. We give up and eat. We give up and get lazy. We give up and make excuses!

WELL NOT ME! No giving up here. I know the hard work it takes. I have been there personally and I have coached thousands to do that same. I KNOW THE RESULTS ARE WORTH IT!
