The new Beachbody workout program, P90 is coming soon! We just recently got word that the OFFICIAL release date of P90, Beachbody’s new workout program, will be September 23, 2014! A lot is know about P90 but we haven’t been told everything. I wanted to give you some of the info I have been told and just keep it on your radar. P90 the exactly the type of new Beachbody program that so many people need. Even if you don’t think P90 is right for you, keep an open mind… I’ll share with you why I am excited for the release of P90!

P90: A Revamped Power 90

Power 90 was, and is, a great Beachbody program. It combined great circuit training and cardio. The original Power 90 did a lot for a lot of people. Even TR’s all star Chris Garrett got his start with Power 90. It was a good entry point but is very dated. That is where P90 comes in, a brand new on-ramp, entry Beachbody workout program.

What do we KNOW about the new Beachbody Workout P90?

Here is what we know. P90 will be a 90 day program with 25-45 minute workouts (no 90 minute YogaX!). There are 6 workouts a week and a rest day. There will also be a base kit and deluxe kit. The BASE kit of P90 will 10 workouts on 4 DVDs, a bonus workout of Dynamix form X3, a pro-grade resistance band, a door attachment for pull downs, and all the guides and schedules you could ever need! 

The DELUXE kit will have 4 more deluxe workouts – Speed Sculpt, Speed Sweat, Speed Abs, Horton’s Greatest Hits, 2 more resistance bands, and a yoga mat. 

All the space you need for P90 is enough room to step side to side in each direction. With it’s limited space need and gear, P90 is going to be a great place to start! Each and every move performed in P90 will have a modified version. This will allow any and all ability level to get a great workout.

Why is Coach Wayne excited about a new Beachbody program like P90?

Now P90 is a true on-ramp, or beginner’s program… so you might be wondering why I am excited for P90. Will Coach Wayne do P90? LOL probably not. I will definitely go through all the workouts and review them, but I can’t see myself doing a full round of P90. I am past that point, and that is ok. What gets me excited about P90 is finally having a new Beachbody workout program I can recommend to friends and family that have always seen my at home workout programs as too intense. Not everyone wants to, or can, jump into P90X or Insanity. That is ok! I want P90 to be able to get people moving and believing in their abilities! I want P90 to help them move towards a healthier and happier life. If they then want to do other Beachbody workout programs, great. If they want to stay with P90, that is great too! The important thing is that we can meet people where they are and remove any roadblocks they might have that have caused them to never start.

So as you think about P90, don’t get hung up on it being a beginner’s program. If you wanted to, I am sure you could find ways to dial up the intensity and get a really extreme workout. What I want you to do is think about people in your life that might benefit from P90. Those people that would never try Beachbody’s more extreme program. See if P90 could be exactly the workout program they need to get started.

When I think about my desire to help other people, especially my family and friends, it can be a little selfish. I definitely want them to feel better, have more energy, and get healthy… but I also just want them around longer for me LOL! I want their health to improve so I can spend more time with them, here and now. I want my kids to be able to know them more and have fuller, more meaningful relationships with them.

So don’t write off P90 if you have already conquered some extreme Beachbody workout programs. Think about who it could help. The people you love that you could come along side and help. Feel free to get them plugged in with teamRIPPED too. I will always help any and everyone. I want you to get more out of life and taking control of your health is a guaranteed way to do that!
