Hey teamRIPPED!
Are you struggling to stay committed because of limitations beyond your control? Maybe you don’t have the perfect schedule, the perfect setting for doing the workouts, or the perfect options for nutrition and supplements? Are you going to throw in the towel and give up, or are you going to DO YOUR BEST AND FORGET THE REST???? Let me start this check-in by highlighting the awesome results of Antonio J., a U.S. Army soldier who is stationed overseas. With the Army mess hall, his choices are limited for the nutrition plan, and clearly he isn’t in the ideal setting or schedule — he’s in the middle of a desert!!! — but he made no excuses, and he got some AWESOME results in just 90 days. Way to Bring it Anthony. And thank you for protecting us! God bless you man!
Antonio’s abs are starting to really pop, but he’s not happy yet. He’ll keep bringing it and keep us updated. He’s a few weeks into Round 2 already and I know he’s headed for our Hall of Fame!
The vegan challenge is officially underway! We had a flood of interested folks join the private FB page and go through the next 60 days eating a whole food plant based diet. This will be a fun challenge, and I’m excited to have such a large group of people with multiple different goals going through this so we can compare experiences. We will all learn a lot about nutrition in the next 60 days! If you missed it, read yesterday’s article for details on how to join us!
I hope everyone behaved themselves on Halloween! It won’t get any easier with Thanksgiving and Christmas coming up. Start planning now on what wise food choices you can make. Might someone make fun of you for choosing healthy foods while everyone else pigs out? Almost certainly! But SO WHAT!??!?! This isn’t junior high and we don’t need to put up with peer pressure. Be strong and confident! Don’t let fat, lazy, out-of-shape people talk you into sidetracking your goals just so they can justify their poor choices!
In some very sad news, we had a devastating tragedy occur for one of our teamRIPPED members. Bruce Eley experienced a nightmare that no dad or husband would ever want to endure. Last week, his wife and daughter were murdered by a man who then turned the gun on himself. There isn’t anything we can say that will make it any better. We live in a cursed, fallen world where horrible disgusting things happen. All we can do is lift Bruce up in our prayers and ask the LORD to sustain him through this time of grief. Please remember Bruce in your quiet times and prayers. He is a great man and both he and his wife were all about encouraging others and motivating them to reach their health and fitness goals. Cherish every day you have with those you love. And as I reached out to Bruce, he shared the following with me and I want to pass it on to any of you who want to be a blessing to him and his family during this time =
“Thanks Coach Wayne it has been an awful time for me and my two grandchildren. If you could get the following word out I would greatly appreciate it. Believe me I am not one to ask for help but me and my family have been completely over whelmed by this tragedy.

2) Also, as always, remember that the way I benefit from being your coach is that I earn a commission from any Beachbody products that you purchase, as long as you buy them through my site, www.teamRIPPED.com, or by logging in to www.teambeachbody.com to do your shopping (If you buy from the plain beachbody site I get no credit).
