Beachbody Week 3: New Normals

As you get into week 3, it’s time to make these changes into your new normal. They might not be second nature yet, but start thinking “this is how I do it.” Push out any thoughts of failing or going back, you are a new person. You will crush this week and earn a well-deserved recovery week. Notice the changes and celebrate them. Here are some changes to look for:

  • Increased energy
  • Changes in your clothes (how they fit)
  • Increased workout performance
  • Tastes change (healthy food is tasting better and better)
  • Better sleep
  • Pounds on the scale
  • Inches on the measuring tape
  • BF% changes

Workouts in Week 3

What I really want you to focus on this week is a lot like last week: IMPROVEMENT. You are now going to be doing your workouts for a 3rd or more time. So you know them pretty well. Look at your workout sheets and see where you want to and think you can improve. Set some goals for this week.

If I were doing P90X, I would want to look at Shoulder and Arms on Wednesday. What move can I add weight to? Were there any I need to add some more reps? What move had only ok form, I’m going to nail it this week!

Nutrition in Week 3

I love nutrition as we go deeper into a program. If you have been tracking it all, you have some serious data – and the data doesn’t lie!

This week I want you to repeat some days that were dead on for macros and calories. Just put them on repeat! If you need to tweak some, do it. But I love to show people that once you have a great day, you can do it again. Each day doesn’t have to (and shouldn’t) be a gamble. Use your perfect days to make your tracking easier!
