For those of you who checked your bank accounts Friday or over the weekend, you may have noticed a charge for P90X2. And guess what that means? Yep! It’s shipping! Woot!!!
On Friday, Tony Horton hand delivered the very first, numero uno copy of P90X2 to the lucky winner of the pre-order drawing. It was a guy named Landon in Phoenix AZ — congrats to him, and all the pre-order winners (see the list here). But immediately after Tony’s hand delivery, just as promised, BB started processing the pre-orders, in a first-come first-served basis. I don’t know the exact # of orders that were processed on Friday but I’ve heard it was about 15,000. If you see the charge on your account, your order was processed and your copy is on it’s way!!!!
I’m totally pumped because they are running ahead of schedule. They promised “before Christmas” but this will be WAY before Christmas :-). BB wanted to reward those who got their pre-orders in first, so they processed as many as they could Friday. They won’t process any more until Thursday of this week in order to get the orders out that they processed Friday. They will pick back up Thursday processing orders, so if you didn’t see any evidence that yours got processed Friday, keep a lookout on your bank account Thursday or Friday of this week because when you are charged, it’s because your order is shipping. I know that just within the first 30 days of pre-orders there were over 40,000 orders placed (and many more orders have been placed even since then), so there are many more orders left to fill this week and next week. BB will be busy busy busy, just like Santa’s elves! :-)
I have no doubt that many of the earliest pre-orders came from teamRIPPED because we were all over it on the day pre-orders started. And with the great news that orders are already shipping, I suspect almost everyone who has ordered (even recently) will get their copy before Christmas.
Even though we won’t be starting a P90X2 challenge until the new year, I will be tearing my package open the moment I get it. First on my agenda — see what PAP Upper on Blu Ray looks like! I have never seen the final cut so I can’t wait. I hope I don’t look like a dork LOL!
Before the end of the year, I will have all the details on who/what/when/where for our P90X2 challenge plans, but none of that is set yet. For now, just let the fire build and be ready to unleash!!!
