Mark is back at it again, as he continues to CONQUER everything in his path! His original P90X transformation was off the chart, so he started X2 already more ripped than 99% of the population. But he found another gear and took it up even another notch.
Tell me Mark doesn’t look like an elite athlete!! Awesome work bro! Here’s Mark’s X2 Crew video =
And for those who never saw Mark’s original Hall of Fame video and read his story, check this out =
I forgot to ask something else. On lift days, especially shoulders and arm, I can't burn beyond 600 calories and I want to burn 800. My question is, is it okay if I add some moderate cardio immediately afterwards to help achieve that goal or would it be counterintuitive to any muscle gain? I burn around 1200 calories with 1 hour of Insanity on those days. So I'm good there. I'm trying to reach a total of 6000 calories burned in one week, not including a 500 calorie a day deficit.
Sure JE, that's fine. Like I say every time, extra cardio is fine as long as you have the time and the energy.
Hi doc, Didn't you say you were doing some kind of cross fit or circuit training exercises before starting P90X? How long were you doing it before P90X? Thank u sir
Yes JR. My P90X day 1 pics are after 2 months of doing crossfit and making no noticeable progress lol.
Hey coach (btw I'm sorry i ask a lot of questions) I'm planning for P90X2 and i was wondering since I've already been working out for a while, am in good shape and not really trying to lose weight, if i should do the fat shredder guide for the program. Did you?
The only reason you'd do the fat shredder is to lose weight. Choose the phase of the nutrition that meets your needs and goals.
Thanks for all of the comments, team! I couldn't have done it without the support and motivation from the X2CREW. A few of you studs helped me go further than I ever thought I would...you know who you are! BRING IT!
Coach Wayne, is it better to eat nothing for a meal or have a cheat meal? Just wondering for the times that there are no healthy options.
Neither Nathan. It's better to always be prepared, like the boy scouts :-). I always have a protein bar, almonds, or etc. within short reach if I'm left without an alternative.
I'm doing insanity the asylum and I'm on day like 23 or something and i was wondering if its okay to switch up the workouts. For instance, tomorrow is Strength and i was wondering if i could do shoulders and arms or something instead?
Yes Gary, you can make that substitution, but rather than just making hodge podge decisions on what workout you'll do, you would be far better to make a hybrid workout and then stick to the schedule. In other words, have a plan!!
You can do it either way Nathan. I'd say to consider it a substitution and not do the speed and agility.
Hey coach wayne, my cousin was over and she is trying to do P90X Lean so I've been giving her tips and all but today was Core Synergistics for her and she said she wasn't going to do it because she was TIRED. I asked her if i do it with her will she do it and she said yes. Anyways, i did the workout with her and i pushed pretty hard but my scheduled workout for today was Speed and Agility but since Core Synergistics is kinda a full body workout, i was wondering if i should also do Speed and Agility. I'm still going to be active the rest of the day (walking my dog, jogging etc.) so should i do both workouts?
I can't wait, Madison! This Asylum/X2 hybrid is going to be absolutely nuts. We're gonna try to take this thing to a whole new level now!
There he is! Again! One of my X2 Crew brothers from another mother. Awesome work man! See you in the misfit vs misfit challenge.
Fantastic!
