Hey teamRIPPED!
How is everyone’s New Year going so far? Are you crushing it? I hope so! I’m having a great time in the X3 Battle of the Ripped. We are definitely going to own this challenge, and I won’t be surprised if the infomercial for P90X3 will be full of our team’s transformations. People are fired up and ready to completely annihilate the next 90 days!
Take Paul K for example. This what plugging in and pushing play can do. This is aside by side of the last year. Congrats to an awesome transformation! He’s new man.
This weekend I will be at a Beachbody event in Dallas called Super Saturday, where coaches come together to learn about the latest greatest news coming down the pipeline. One of the things we will get at that event is a sneak peek of the new Strawberry Shakeology flavor. It’s a whey based version (there is already a similar vegan Tropical Strawberry flavor). I have tried it and compared it to the vegan version, and I’d say that it tastes similar to the vegan formula, but with a sweeter taste and no gritty/powdery aftertaste. I mixed it with whole strawberries, almond milk, and ice, and it tastes like strawberry ice cream (that mix of sweet stawberry from the Shakeology and the whole strawberry bits). I give it a thumbs up. I have to admit though, I still prefer Vanilla Shakeology mixed with a banana or Chocolate Shakeology mixed with natural peanut butter. YUM!!!
The new Strawberry Shakeology flavor will be available to you all starting Monday the 13th. It will be available in the usual options (bulk bag, individual packets), as well as in combo packs with your other favorite flavors, like this Neopolitan combo!
Another cool program coming out soon that we will get more info about is the 21 Day Fix. It should launch in February, and features trainer Autumn Calabrese. As the name implies, it’s a short program (just 21 days) designed to really teach portion control and eating for results. There are workouts to coincide with the program, but the coolest feature in my opinion is the container system that you eat from. You can put things into your containers each day (proteins, veggies, etc) and when your containers are empty you are done eating! It will instill proper portion control and help you be honest with yourself about how much you are really eating.
I will post a full program preview once the details and pricing are released.
