2 weeks of 2017 are done!
How are you doing? Are you on the right path for success in 2017? We have huge things to accomplish!

It has been so inspiring to see the excitement in all the challenge groups. People are fired up. There are new faces. And we are getting work done! If you aren’t in a teamRIPPED Challenge Group, you need to be asking yourself WHY!?! Don’t you want a great big fitness family supporting you? Why would you choose to do this on your own? Get in there!

I am doing really well. Pushing hard with my Body Beast hybrid and having fun mixing in some added cardio – keeping it easy on my knees. You can find a link to our TR17 Battle Together group in the sidebar. I’ve been trying to write and post timely articles to let you get the most out of your programs. This week we looked at what you can expect from ENTERING WEEK 2. I think the big focus for any new program is 100% adherence to the diet and workouts. Build yourself some momentum! We need to see this journey as a long battle. It’s not overnight. It takes time but it is worth it 100%.

I also blogged about some of my go-to low cal, low carb snacks. These might not have been earth shattering, but you need to see that there are foods you can load up on. If you want to just eat and eat, get some carrots and air popped popcorn! Go to town, still track, but then you won’t blow your hard work!

Maybe not a low-calorie snack option, but a snacking mindset I like is this: SAVE some food you really look forward to for extra tempting times. If you know you always get tempted before bed, save a snack of something you love for that time. If that is saving some protein and carbs for a PB whey protein shake, do it. Maybe it is saving a Quest bar to eat. I have found having things to look forward to and beat those temptations makes a world of difference!
