Happy Friday teamRIPPED! Did you make it through this week running on fumes or did you race through full of power and motivation? Wherever you are, it’s Friday and I hope you have some time to relax this weekend and recover.

Recovery is HUGE! I talk about it a lot here, but still it’s not that sexy of a topic. It’s not as cool as new workouts, moving up in weights, and setting new PRs. It’s not even as hot of a topic as tracking your nutrition, finding great recipes to hit those macros, or the perfect protein shake. But it’s crucial to long term success!

Sleep is your #1 source of recovery. Don’t overlook it! Get the time in and make it quality. I see more and more people ruin their sleep with unneeded distractions. Charge your phone in the kitchen. Ditch the TV. Buy some blinds and make it dark! But get to bed and enjoy the rest.

My Spartan Race is COMING!

It got real this week that my Spartan Race is only getting closer LOL So I have added in some short running to make sure I don’t die out there. I am still hitting my Beachbody workouts but on shorter days I have added some 2-4 mile runs. My knees are doing well and as long as I space them out, it seems good. I need it though! At the end of the month it will be race time… AROO AROO AROO!

Suggestions Please!

I did this a while back and got to blog about a lot of cool topics, so I want to run it again.
