Hey teamRIPPED!

How are y’all doing this Good Friday?  It was a good week for me to be back in the routine after a week on the go at Disney World over Spring Break.  While I love taking time away from my routine, I guess I’m a bit of a weirdo in that I am most comfortable in my daily routine and I thrive on predictability.  That’s probably why I love to eat the same foods every day (cuz I know exactly what to expect by eating them), while it drives my wife absolutely CRAZY that I don’t need variety.  LOL.

March is almost behind us.  Spring is here!  I am so ready for some warmer weather and more time to enjoy outdoor activities.  Summer will be here before we know it.  Are you on pace to be at the fitness level you want for Spring and Summer?  If not, what are you going to do about it?  If you’ve been slacking through the cold months, it’s not too late.  But time is definitely running out.  Step it up NOW, give it your all, and by June you can make a TON of progress.

Have y’all heard about the new Focus T25 workout program?  It’s a new offering by Shaun T that isn’t available yet, but will launch this summer.  The workouts are shorter than Insanity and Asylum (25 minutes each).  And you only workout 5 days per week instead of 6 (this is similar to the concept of P90X2 which went with a 5 day per week calendar).  Since the workouts are shorter, you get NO BREAKS.  That’s right — NONE!  The idea is this — do you go for a run and stop every 3 minutes for a break?  Do you go for a bike ride and stop every 3 minutes for a break?  No!  You never stop moving.  Same with Focus T25.  You go hard and you don’t stop till the workout is over.

I sampled one of the T25 workouts while at Disney last week with Shaun T, and it was pretty cool.  There are some advanced moves that will really challenge you and wear you out.  There are also some “dancy” type moves that were a little outside my comfort zone since I’m more used to straight Insanity and Asylum.  So I think this will be a good blend of intense cardio that is fun and upbeat.  I see it appealing to a larger demographic of both men and women than, for instance, Asylum.

As release gets closer, I’ll share more details.  In the meantime, Here’s what Shaun T says about Focus T25 =
