That was definitely my highlight, although there was a lot of other amazing things I got to be part of as well … workouts with Sagi Kalev of Body Beast, Tony Horton, Sean T, getting sneak peaks of Focus T25 and the new Vanilla Shakeology, and getting to hang out with thousands of other amazingly passionate Beachbody coaches. It was a great weekend.
This was the second year I have won the title of Top Coach. Last year, the theme was Elvis, and everyone danced around in Elvis wigs on stage. Embarrassing me was the objective, and it worked perfectly. The belt I got last year was “pimped out” with flashing lights and speakers. It was pretty cool!
So I wondered what they could possibly do to match last year’s festivities. Well, they definitely raised the bar. They had learned through the grapevine that my favorite movies are the Rocky series, so this time they had a whole boxing theme. Dancers dressed like boxers danced around and sang a remake of one of my favorite songs, “The Eye of the Tiger”. Why a remake? Cuz this was “Eye of Wayne Wyatt” LOL! It was hilarious!
And the TOP COACH belt this year … Holy Cow! It was not only blinged out to the max, but it had an actual iPad mini on the front! LOL! So I had full video and sound on this bad boy. Definitely the coolest belt EVER!
They also wanted to throw a nod to the fact that I’m from Oklahoma, so they did a Native American dance and threw me up in the air in a ceremonial ritual. Thankfully they caught me too! (The throwing part is why I’m decked out in a Captain America style helmet in some of the pics below LOL).
So let me finish by saying THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has made this dream of mine a reality. It’s been a wild ride. I just hope we can get more and more people on board and plugged in with teamRIPPED nation, because we are going places and we are DREAMING BIG! Don’t be normal.
