Transformations inspire! They fire me up each and every time I see one. My good buddy, and coach on teamRIPPED, Lance Lyell had a huge transformation himself. Lance lost 75 lbs, won $1,000 from the Beachbody Challenge, and even made it in the P90X infomercial. What’s even more impressive than all that, he decided doing this for himself and his family wasn’t enough. He wanted to help more people. So he started Team Determination, or as it is known now the TD Nation!
This is honestly one of my favorite thing about teamRIPPED. I was able to help Lance and Lance is now able to help others. It’s far more than I could do alone. It’s a big team effort!
Lance and the TD Nation have helped countless people lose weight and make a life change for the better. Lance and his coaches run awesome challenge groups and really are one big fit family. This week I got to see 3 TD Nation people win the Beachbody Challenge and I just KNEW I needed to share them with you.
Kim Scheffler Langley
Kim Scheffler Langley lost 32 lbs with P90X3 but is actually down 86 lbs overall!!! I don’t want to just copy/paste from Team Beachbody, but you need to go read her story. CLICK HERE but check out what Kim wrote and tell me you don’t relate to this! “Even though I didn’t believe that I could lose the weight, I was desperate and had to do something. I so badly wanted my kids to be proud of me. I wanted to be the mom that could run with her kids and keep up with them. I also wanted to be healthy, and to not have to worry about dying from complications due to my weight. I needed to be around for my kids, and if I didn’t change something, that was not going to happen!”
Steve Sample
Steve S. lost 71 lbs. with P90X, INSANITY, P90X2, LES MILLS COMBAT, INSANITY: THE ASYLUM VOLUME 1 & 2, and Body Beast!!! CRUSHING IT! Hear what Steve said about how he felt before he started (there is NO way he feels this way now): “My life has always been great. I have a great family that has always supported me unconditionally. However, the way I felt about myself was a different story. I have always been the fun guy who is always happy but, for most of my life, that was a front. I was miserable on the inside. I struggled with depression, and spent time and money throwing pills at that issue rather than facing the true root of my problem. I always made excuses for my weight: my metabolism is slow, must be something wrong with my thyroid, poor genetics, etc. I was never willing to look in the mirror and admit to the guy I saw that it was all on me! Looking at myself in the mirror made me sad that I had let myself go so far. I was so ashamed, I wouldn’t let my wife take my “before” pictures.”
Brian Beam
Talk about inspiring. Get your mind around this… At 47 years young… he lost 153 lbs in one year with P90, LES MILLS COMBAT, P90X3, and BOD. He entered his results into The Beachbody Challenge and won $1,000! Can you believe it!!! If this doesn’t get you pumped up and make you feel amazing, I don’t know what will!
I just want to say it again, CONGRATS you 3! What you have done and continue to do is exactly what this is all about. Keep paying it forward and keep showing that each and every person matters. Way to go TD Nation!
