Beachbody coaching is built on a network marketing platform. People who use beachbody products and have great success with them have an opportunity to join the company and be part of helping others maximize their results with those products. There is obviously more to it than that, because to coach others through the programs takes lots of discipline, time, and effort. And it takes a true passion for helping others reach their goals. Coaches just interested in selling stuff to the people they coach will never succeed. Coaches interested in helping people reach their goals seem to be the most successful in this business.
I have a very successful “day job” — I’m an orthodontist in Tulsa Oklahoma. I do braces and invisalign. When I decided to become a beachbody coach, my goal was not to grow a super-successful business. I simply wanted a way to hold myself accountable to keep pushing myself, and I loved helping others catch the passion I have for these workouts and supplements — because they WORK! I’m proof!
I didn’t need Beachbody coaching to become a successful business because I already had one. But the passion I had for Beachbody coaching quickly led to this becoming a successful business opportunity for me through my teamRIPPED website and the community of people who call me coach and call this place home!
And now I have a dilemma. I have TWO very successful business opportunities. Who would have ever thought that my “day job”, which required 11 years of extra schooling, could be facing the full-court press from a network marketing opportunity I got into just for fun?? Well, it is! Would someone walk away from a medical specialty to coach people through P90X? Ask me that question in another year or two, because I don’t intend to “work 2 jobs” for much longer!
But it’s still funny that I am sometimes asked by skeptics about the coaching opportunity as to how it is different than a pyramid scheme. I saw this video which pretty much sums it up! It is quite funny!
So in reality, every organization, every company, every group, is a pyramid scheme if you want to call it that! My orthodontic practice is a pyramid scheme! LOL!
But the beauty of beachbody coaching is that it is whatever you want to make it. If you want to just get a 25% discount on the products you use, that’s fine. You don’t have to coach others at all. If you want to grow a business, you can do that too. There are no limits or boundaries on what you can do with your coaching opportunity.
And I can guarantee you that it’s no pyramid scheme! Last June I started coaching — at the supposed “bottom of the pyramid”, and just 1 year later I am currently the #1 coach in the entire Beachbody organization — Thanks to you and all of teamRIPPED for that, by the way!!! I hope to continue to shoot for #1 coach not because of the business aspect of it, but because our team is changing people’s lives, and the ripple effect we have on others continues to spread! That’s an awesome reward! “Top Coach” is just the icing on the cake :-). Well, that, and I get a really cool “Top Coach” championship belt to wear!
