P90X en Espanol

P90X in full spanish is now available! The demand for the P90X product worldwide is HUGE, and until just now, English was the only choice. But now with a full Spanish version, our friends to the South can now enjoy Tony’s humor and understand the instructions for form and technique that until now they’ve been guessing on.
I’m very excited for this development. I don’t have any Spanish speakers on my Christmas list, but I am excited for the potential this brings to expand an already very popular and very successful workout program around the globe.
Just think, in a few more years P90X will be the global fitness solution! Not just the American fitness solution! And the coaching opportunity will be global as well, with Mexico coming on line first in 2011. That’s incredibly exciting as well! We are just on the tip of the iceburg at this point!

Man that is awesome Im hispanic and I have alot of spanish speaking people who want the program but dont understand english….Like my mom for example….This is Great!!!!!!!
This is something that I look forward to reviewing. Spanish is my 4th language and I am in constant contact with Hispanics. I look forward to hearing how it was dubbed. It will be weird listening to Tony in Spanish, just as it was for me listening to Bugs Bunny speak English having seen the cartoon in Portuguese growing up.
I wonder when Tony says “don’t go out and eat a krispy Kream or something nasty” what will the translation be like. Perhaps:
a) a gordita from Taco Bell
b) chicharron (pork rinds)
c) empanadas
d) arepa (thick cheese filled tortilla)
e) mondongo (tripe soup)
Can’t wait to see it!

I can’t believe it, finally in spanish.
I’m in day 81 and been talking to my family in Mexico about this wonderful system, actually is going to be a surprise to most of my family to see me after 9 months. They think I’m still 280 lb. but now I’m 250 lb. I’m not so ripped as you coach but need to be more stricter in my diet.
I can’t wait to hear Tony saying “don’t go out and eat a krispy Kream or something nasty” in spanish just like Leo said.

In fact there’s no problem with the “krispy kream’s” subject. We have Krispy Kreams in the main cities in México and lots of people know what are those. I’m excited to start this business oppornity in México and it will be really easier now that P90X is available in spanish. Maybe Tony’s humor will be affected because of the translation unless they found out some ways to sound humorous or motivational like these examples:
1. (of course the main phrase in ALL P90X program) “Do your best, forget the rest”: Althoug in Spanish we can’t make it rhyme because the translation is “Haz lo mejor, olvida el resto”, it would be nice if they dubbed as “Haz lo mejor y no pienses en lo peor” (Do your best, forget the worst).
2. “Engage” in “core synergistics” can be dubbed as “Commit” (Comprometerse)so the same humor applies there
