WHAT’S YOUR WHY?

I posed that question a week or so ago… These fired me up! I hope it motivated you today too.

Jeff L – I feel way better and have more confidence when I’m in shape than when I’m not.

Carl M. – We recently adopted a baby girl. When I came to the realization that I would be 64 when she was 18 I knew I needed to do something to get back in shape. I was gaining weight and feeling terrible. Through proper nutrition and fitness I have since lost 30 lbs and feel great.

Kacey K – Why? So that I’m fit enough to compete. So that I’m not embarrassed to take my shirt off. To play with my kids and not be exhausted. To gain respect from my peers. And finally, to feel better.

David J – I really want to be around for my wife and kids. I want to be a dad that does more. On top of it, I fell in love with fitness! I honestly can’t imagine stopping this.

Mike M – I have always had a passion for fitness but really never was very serious about it. I always had some excuse as to not starting that next Monday. I have always had a hard time with the nutrition aspect of fitness, because I love to cook and eat pretty much everything. Unfortunately, I never got much time to spend with my kids when they were younger and now that they are teenagers and ss I get into my late 40’s I want to be able to spend time with them and see them raise their kids. That would be my “why.” On another note, I have been consistently working out since Jan. 3rd of this year and I have seen significant results especially with getting stronger. This is a huge accomplishment for me, when I get up in the morning I can’t wait to work out because of seeing the results. Along with that, this site coach is a HUGE motivator as well. I can’t wait to read the great articles that you post. Hope to meet you someday, you have been a huge influence!!! Thanks for everything!!

Kevin D – I love the feeling of being spent from a tough workout – the stress relief, the feeling of being pushed by a personal trainer (Tony/Sean T) past my comfort zone…And being honest, the nostalgia from the feeling of being young on the HS soccer team during “hell week”, where the coach just drills everyone during tryouts, and being the last one standing

Love that feeling!

Ritchie C – I’m about 3 months away from my 30th birthday and I want to be in the best shape of my life. I’ve never had abs and I’ve never been able to do pull ups. That is what I strive for. Heart conditions also runs in my family so that is my most important “why”, health and well being! Last but not least is to improve my overall quality of life. I’ve always been a fat or chubby person and was always very self-conscious when it comes to taking off my shirt. I have many stretch marks from weight fluctuation so having them and being chubby was an ego killer. Once I’m lean I can live with the stretch marks but at least I will be shredded.

Keep adding your WHY to the mix! I would love to share more with the team!
