Ok, I trust at least one person was honest.
Let me break something to you, getting ripped is not all that glamorous. I’m sure you see the really ripped people on teamRIPPED, you watch some transformation videos, and you start to buy into the lie that getting ripped is really cool! “It’s meaningful! You are an inspiration due to your ripped abs! I’m going to drive people and makes them awesome!!”
Here’s the truth – getting ripped is really just, WORK!
- It’s time spent tracking your meals and planning tomorrow to make sure you get 220g of protein and don’t go over on fat.
- It’s countless meals spent preparing something different cuz the family isn’t on board.
- Ripped is drinking some whey in water when all you want is a bowl of ice cream.
- It’s telling your mom “no thanks” to some of here prize winning pie at Thanksgiving.
- It’s hours waking up early to workout before you head into a demanding job.
- Ripped is pushing yourself to the point of muscular failure and going back for more.
- It’s trying something new, being horrible at it, and trying it again.
- It’s going to bed early for recovery and having enough time to workout before you leave for a trip.
- It’s saving up to buy heavier dumbbells instead of a new video game.
It’s putting all your effort towards that one goal – RIPPED.
Getting ripped has it’s perks. Don’t hear me say it’s not worth it. You will be in great health, your confidence will skyrocket, you will be more fit! But don’t buy into the nonsense that it doesn’t take work. Eating tuna and oats for lunch is not fun LOL not matter what Instagram filter you put on it. But if that is the meal that makes you hit your macros, then you will do it. Cuz you know the end results ARE WORTH IT.
Whether you want to get ripped, get off some meds, get lean for a wedding, lose BF to have more energy for your kids – whatever – LET’S PUT IN THE WORK!
