ATTENTION! Anyone needing a kick in the rear needs to read my article from yesterday, “teamRIPPED MISFIT Challenge!”. If you are ready to ring in 2012 RIPPED AND READY for P90X2, and want to go step for step with me, this may be the wake up call you have been looking for!
The big buzz over the last couple weeks has been my announcement of the teamRIPPED vegan challenge. If you didn’t catch that, read about it in my article “teamRIPPED vegan challenge”. That article has led to a lot of questions, which I totally anticipated. However, most of them I’m not qualified to answer yet since this is a new adventure for me! So in the coming weeks, leading up to our teamRIPPED vegan challenge (kicking off November 1st), I hope to pass on some of what I’m learning to you.
And as I study and learn more about the whole food plant based diet, I will update you guys (good, bad, or otherwise). Last week I introduced you to my “Whole Food Plant Based Diet Coach”, Monica Parodi. She definitely knows her stuff, and has the results to back her up!
But surely if she’s a vegan, her diet must be plain and bland. Who wants to eat like a rabbit, right? That’s what I used to think anytime the word “vegan” came up. Then I tried some of these recipes by Missy Costello, Tony Horton’s personal chef (lucky dog has his own chef!) = CLICK HERE. My first “vegan meal” was the “Famous Tony Horton Vegan Burritos” and I’ve got to say they are one of my favorite meals — vegan or not! You’ll have to make a trip to the Whole Foods store to find some of these ingredients, but man is it worth the effort!
And in other teamRIPPED news this week, I posted a “revisited” version of one of my all time favorite articles last week, “Just Do It. Period”. Anytime you feel like sleeping in, skipping that workout, hitting the buffet, etc., remind yourself of this article! :-). We don’t always WANT to do the right thing, but that doesn’t matter. Sometimes we just need to simply suck it up and JUST DO IT! PERIOD!
And if you are like me, you were blown away by a couple transformation updates that I posted last week (Sean and Lance). If you didn’t see them, go back and check them out!! Did you ever wonder what working out with Tony Horton on the beach would be like? Sean’s update let’s you see first hand. You’ll see some jaw dropping feats of strength and coordination that will make you glad you AREN’T on that beach with Tony! LOL! (“P90X2 Star Sean”)
And Lance shows us what DETERMINATION is all about, as he’s kept building on his original results to get more and more ripped. Way to go Lance! (“Lance Update”)
