Remme is a chef, a dad, and a guy who had his wake up call when his daughter called him FAT! He decided to do something about it, set the right example for his kids, and honor the One who created him by taking care of the body he’s been given. Remme’s Story =
First I want to start off by thanking Coach Wayne Wyatt for all the hard work he puts in! You are true leader and blessing to so many!
I’ll make this short and sweet! I’m a 30 year old father of three amazing girls! 10, 8 & 6.
I’m also a chef, I’ve been in the industry all my life, I was born in the business!
Through high school I played basketball, after that I didn’t do anything.
Between work and family my life has always been busy, on average I work 70-80 hours a week 6 months out of the year! 30-40 hours the slower half of the year!
I’m a single father as well so trying to balance it all out can be tough. I have them 50% of the time!
So that’s a little about me!
My journey with the program was a hard one! But it was so worth it!
It all started one day when my oldest says “daddy you’re getting FAT” I knew I was packing on some pounds but I didn’t know where to go or what to do! I had no time to go to a gym and if I did I had no clue where to start. I’ve always been a hard worker, I give it all I have and take my job as if I owned the business!
Colossians 3:23 Work at everything you do with all your heart. Work as if you were working for the Lord, not for human masters.
There’s a saying in the kitchen “Nobody trust a skinny chef” I love food! Man do I love food, sweets would get me every time….
So when I would get home after a long day I wanted to sit on the couch, watch T.V. play video games, just unwind! The night my daughter called me FAT I was watching T.V. with my soda or POP or soda pop and some food I brought home. I saw that commercial again that one I saw so many times and would say that won’t work! The next day I was talking to my mother and told her I want to get in shape but don’t have time! So she says to me “I have this program that I bought a few years back, it has everything you need” O.K. Mother what is it? She say it P90X!
Now if that isn’t a sign then I don’t know what is! I was still skeptical but picked it up from her. I remember the first day; I thought it was going to be easy! Man was I wrong!
I was HOOKED! I don’t know how I found Teamripped or even remember but I’m glad I did! Anything I needed to know coach had an answer. I pushed play every day and haven’t stopped!
I do believe that we were all created to be leaders! Our spirits are what drive us to be better; there are so many people that have had their spirits crushed or beat down with every day life! Life is hard and there will always be bad days, but there is always tomorrow! What I’m trying to say is that P90X and beachbody has taught me about self discipline, commitment and how to encourage each other! There are so many leaders in the beachbody community that it blows my mind!
2 Tim 1:7: For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.
I love the program so much I became a coach to help people! Pay it forward! Not just to lose weight or be healthy but to be someone that cares and is willing to help in all aspect’s of life!
