What can P90X do for a guy when he gives 100%?  Pat put himself to the test and you’ll see for yourself — he ROCKED IT!

He lost 15 lbs and got down to 7% body fat! This is the story of a guy who committed 100% to both the workouts and the nutrition, gave it his all each and every day, and now we can share in celebrating his success! Pat didn’t stop here.  He’s still bringing it strong.  But it all started with the first 90 days and learning how to decide … commit … succeed!

Watch Pat’s Video below:

Pat’s Story in his own words:

I have always been in relatively good shape my entire life. Growing up in Montana I was an active outdoorsman and had a career as a Golf Club Professional. Eventually I moved to Arizona and as I worked my way up the ranks I started playing less golf, working out less, sitting at a desk more and eating when and what I could. I was stuck in this rut for about 6 years. My diet was a Starbucks White Chocolate Mocha and an Old Fashion Glazed donut on my way to work for breakfast, diet soda all day long with lots of junk food and before I would go to bed I comforted myself with a row of Oreo cookies and milk. Then wake up and do it all over again. I am surprised I didn’t get in worse shape then I was.

Finally a friend suggested P90X and I found the “Teamripped” website. I ordered the videos and I was committed. Start day was September 17th. I didn’t know how I would do or what my motivation was going to be until I read the article by Coach Wayne about the percentage of how many people finish the program and how many finish it sticking to the nutrition. I wanted to be in that Club!

I followed the P90X Classic program exactly how it was written. Whatever workout it said to do I did it. No modifying, no days off and just did the best I could with each video. I did modify the nutrition suggestions. Following the Fat Shredder, I only allowed myself no more then 1900 calories a day with 50% Protein – 30% Carbs – 20% Fat. Again this was really tough when I could each that many calories with one trip to In & Out Burger! (Loved those fries too!) On another Coach Wayne tip, I got the Tap & Track food app which really helped with knowing what I was eating. Without it I know I would have ate way to much everyday. I didn’t really tell anyone what I was doing but they certainly noticed. People would ask me all the time how much weight I wanted to lose but it was never really about that. I didn’t care how much weight I lost. I wanted to finish the program and see where I ended up. I guess if I was being honest I did want to get to a point where I could see my abs. I think all guys want that “look” of having a chiseled chest and stomach.

Finally after 90 days, all the hard work has paid off. I only lost a total of 15 lbs but got down to 7% body fat and guess what…. I got that chiseled chest and stomach I was hoping for! I said to a golfing buddy the other day that the only nice rolls I have now are on the putting green! (Of course this was after I made a putt) I wake up each morning and can’t wait to workout. The coffee has been replaced with protein drinks, the donuts with Pure Protein bars, the diet soda with water and the Oreo cookies with almonds. I love where I am at and for round 2 I will be doing P90X Plus and will follow that program exactly how it says. I already made my calendar for every workout so I have a lot to commit to. For round 2 I will be incorporating Results & Recovery after my workouts and Shakeology as a meal replacement and am anxious to take it to the next level. Finally, I can’t thank Coach Wayne enough for all the articles and encouragement.
