Jose B. didn’t mess around. He had a lot of weight and body fat to lose, and when the opportunity to plug in with the Misfits came up, he jumped on it and never looked back. He got his nutrition straight, started using Shakeology, and Brought It every day! Congrats on melting off a load of body fat man! That’s not easy! Now he’s joining the X2 Crew and going for more!
Jose’s Story =
Since i can remember, i have always been the chubby kid, it was in my nature and i was use to it, “happy” with it, at least thats what i thought, i was never raised with a working out or eating healthy lifestyle, i never learned as a boy about nutrition.
by the time i hit 25 years, i was 250lbs. and i thought that was normal, that was the most weghit i had ever had.
i started to feal uncomfortable when i was gonna go out, and my clothing would not fit, this was not normal any more, i started to see my coworkers, they would go to the gym and they would eat pretty healthy, but i was always kind of scared to go to the gym, i had never set foot on one before, i didn’t know any exercises, where to start or anything, so i decided to do something at home, i went to youtube to look for exercises you could do at home, and i found p90x,
i got excited and orderd the program, i started doing it, but i never had results, why?, because i never stuck to the nutrition part,
that’s when i found coach wayne and team ripped!!
i started to read his posts on nutrition and exercise, every day, but still, something was missing, i was not getting results, i thought i was doing things right but i was not,
i would do my program, all week, but on the weekend i would slack off, i would “reward myself” for the hard work through out the week, how?, eating like there was no tomorrow!!! LOL!!!!
Then out of nothing, it happend!, i saw a post on the team ripped page, and it was clearly directed at me, well that’s how it felt,
ATTENTION TO ALL THE MISFITS!! it’s time to chage your life. that’s when everything changed,
i gotta say, i was kind of scared, i even talked to my wife about it, if i could do this, i could be a totally diferent person, a better person, much healthier, in 90 days, was this really possible?
there is no doubt i wanted this, plus i had to be accountable every day with a “group” of people that i didn’t even know, was i really gonna stick to it?
so i thought about this for the whole day, and i told my wife, I’M GONNA DO IT!!
I sent the request to be a part of the group, and i got accepted, then i think i was like the second person to post my pictures, that’s when i new there was no turning back! LOL!!! and i am so glad i did it,
i started doing the workouts and kept track of my nutrition every day, and something happend!! i started to loose weight!!! then another week passed and i lost more, plus i felt stronger, and my self esteem of off the roof!
the days that i felt tired and did not feal the workouts, my group would be there to support me, and the days that i felt great, i would be there to support them, i found a second family, that cared about me, and wanted me to be a better person, so i would not let them down!!!!
By the end of the challenge, i passed my goal, to drop 30 lbs., i lost a total of 34 lbs. and i felt great, but i’m not done, my next goal is to get ripped, with p90x2., and i know i’m gonna do it!!! a
So what are you waiting for????? What’s your goal??? where do you wanna be in 3 months????
