Brandon had always been slightly out of shape, and definitely didn’t have a muscular, athletic body. He saw the infomercial and decided to give it a shot. He gave great effort to P90X, and got decent results. But his nutrition was lacking. He decided to refocus, get the diet dialed in, and went into P90X2. After completing P90X2, he has abs and muscles that he never had before! Way to stick with it, make the necessary adjustments, and not give up. This is yet another example of how important it is to not only do the workouts, but to fuel your body properly with the right nutrition plan and supplements to get you to your goals. Way to go Brandon!
Brandon’s Story =
I have always been in “regular” shape. A couple years ago I saw the p90x infomercials many many times. This P90X program said you would go from “regular” to “ripped”, and ripped was what I wanted but never thought it was possible for someone like me. So I got p90x to see what it was all about. I went through the 90 day of workouts and man was it hard! Notice I just said workouts, I did not change much with my diet so in turn I did not get great results. Sure I might have lost 8-10 lbs but there was not much of a transformation for me because I just worked out and went back to my old ways of eating. Due to this I gained that weight back and more until I got to my heaviest(pic above). Earlier this year I continued seeing all these people having crazy transformations videos with P90X including Coach Wayne! They did what I did but they gave it their all INCLUDING the nutrition part. So I finally got it. What did I have to loose?(besides weight!). I decided to COMMIT and do the program as its designed. I plugged in here at TeamRIPPED and read ALOT! I cleaned up my nutrition and I did a round of P90X and lost 34lbs and went from 23%BF to about 12%. I continued my new lifestyle change and jumped right into X2. Starting X2 I was already dialed in and had my fuel(shakeology) to get me through. With X2 I went from 12% to 7% BF!.
I don’t know if Coach Wayne remembers, but my first email to him I told him that I would be really happy if I even got half his results. I think i might be there!(now if I can only get half his results with my round of body beast!LOL)
As you can see my results with my 1st failed attempt of P90X vs. this past X2 round, I can’t stress enough NUTRITION, NUTRITION, NUTRITION!!! Dialed in Nutrition makes you able to see your hard work coming through which in turn makes you push harder on your workouts! I have definetly caught the “fitness bug” and it is a huge part of my life now. I have even become a coach now to be able to help others in their fitness journey and be able to feel as great as i do!
