Andrew has had P90X since 2007!  He kept trying to get through it but always quit a little while in.  Finally, in January of this year, he got the accountability of a friend, and the inner-resolution to finally get it done, and he MADE IT HAPPEN!!  Watch the video below and I think you’ll agree that it paid off for him big time!  Congrats man!!  You did it!

Awesome thumbnail pic btw!  You couldn’t ask for a cooler snapshot!

Andrew’s Story =

Hi! My name is Andrew Christofferson, and this is my health and fitness journey.

I’ve always been active, playing sports while growing up and through high school.  I worked out continually through ministry training school(I am a pastor today) and enjoyed backpacking, rock climbing, etc. My wife and I married in 2005, and we consistently went for runs, etc.

In 2007 I saw the P90X infomercial, and knew that it was right up my alley. I hit it hard for a month, and then suffered some injuries. We hit the program hard off and on, even getting into the “portion” plan of the diet a few times.  I never officially completed the program all 90 days through.

Well this last December I knew it was time for a change.  At 27 my metabolism wasn’t what it used to be, and in December alone I put on a solid 8 lbs of fat, boosting me up to 189 lbs, the heaviest I’d ever been.

I was mad at myself, because I knew the right thing to do for my body, but I was lazy and didn’t want to make the sacrifices that would bring health and fitness. I was settling for the instant gratifications of food/sugar/sleeping in.

So finally midway through January, I decided along with a friend of mine that we would go 100%, no excuses. Diet 100%, push play 100%.  This was not going to be just another try at P90X, this was going to be a lifestyle change!

There were some positives, some struggles,(birthday time with no cake???), but we got it done. We worked out at midnight one night just to get the workout in! Those excuses will pop up, but what are you going to do about it? It’s up to you.

My end results were weighing in at 166.5 lbs, 7.6% body fat. It feels so good to be able to do things such as a quick 20 mile bike ride or a 3 mile jog without even thinking about it!

Sticking to your diet, as coach Wayne so often brings up, is at least 80% of this whole journey.  50/30/20 the whole way! Eat your tuna folks =).

I would say the biggest encouragements are your workout pictures every 30 days.  Seeing those improvements in your body, however so slight, makes it all worth it.

Bring IT!
