Hey I was wondering with this program if i need go extra bar or would the dumb bells I would use in P90X be okay. I have the 1090 bowflex dumb bells.
Darkhand44 You can use just dumbbells. Every workout has a cast member using only dumbbells. It is easy to modify. The EZ bar just makes it easier to load on more weight, but 1090s will be awesome for Beast. Lots of weight to throw around! Beast up!!!
Hey coach, has team beachbody done any special sales on their equipment on black friday? Because if they do that would help me immensely, since i am going to get a lot of expensive equipment from here? Thanks
That's great thanks... I have been having problems logging in to my account on teambeachbody and I'm working with customer service right now but I would like to order body beast. Will it make a difference if I order as a guest or should I wait? Thanks Travis
Travis, if you can wait, that would be great. They may try to assign you to a new coach if you order as guest.
Would the bowflex selectec 3.1 bench work for body beast? That would save me a little money thanks Travis
hey coach, im thinking about buying body beast and was wondering if it is necisary to buy an adjustable bench and curl bar or can i do the program with good results without either... thanks travis
Travis, you can get great result without either. If you really want to lift heavy, then the bench and EZ are a must though. The Beachbody bench is awesome! Feel free to look at craigslist for deals too.
hey Coach Wayne I wanna ask if it's better to use the EZ curl bar or a normal straight bar, I researched that the straight bar engages the biceps more than the EZ curl. But the bar is used for more than just bicep curls so do you think even with the other bar exercises I can have better results with the straight bar? I don't have wrist issues also because that's the only thing I know that the EZ bar helps with thanks! :)
Cars, with a straight bar, your wrists are already a little supinated. That will help some on your biceps and it also will hit your forearms more than when your pinkies are down on an EZ bar. The great thing about an EZ bar is its length. Nice and compact. If you can get your hands on a short straight bar, that's work too!
