How is the teamRIPPED Nation doing this week? Did it feel like a shortened week for you or did you just fit 5 days of work into 4? I hope you had a successful week and are closer to your goals. I can’t believe that May has come and gone and we will be in June on Monday!

Time is always moving forward. So make the most of today. For those of you who have been busting your butts all year, this is when it starts to pay off — SUMMERTIME!  Enjoy the new level of fitness and the new look you’ve created.  You’ve earned it!

The Final Push!

As we get to the end of the Perfection Crew (which I can’t wait to show you their results!), I keep thinking about finishing well. You really want to cross the finish line with everything you’ve got! It got me thinking about a post I wrote on just that, FINISHING WELL! If you need a boost as you come to the end of your program, check it out. Set some personal bests, go all out, really dial in your nutrition and see how great you can get your results!

The Dad Bod

I had to write about it this week (HERE), I just had to. I had a few people send me the link and other’s ask… so y’all made me waste valuable minutes I will never get back LOL! As I am even now reflecting back on my post, I want to make something clear. You are NEVER a failure if your goal isn’t to get ripped abs. The reason we don’t settle for the “Dad Bod” as outlined by that post is we want to be more for our families!

Our health is important and we know that stuffing our faces will only bring momentary satisfaction BUT also carry some pretty long-term disadvantages. There is a huge correlation between high BF/being overweight and a laundry list of health problems. I want you to be the BEST you that you can be. Balanced in life and health! I really hope y’all know that, but I needed to say it again.

CONSISTENCY WINS THE DAY

Talent doesn’t win.  Ability doesn’t win.  Being emotionally fired up doesn’t win.  Having the perfect set of circumstances doesn’t win.  What wins?  CONSISTENCY!!!

It’s not sexy.  It doesn’t make you feel warm and fuzzy.  It sounds a little boring.  And that’s why most people don’t do it.  Most people are lazy and unwilling to be CONSISTENT day in and day out, whether they feel like it or not.

But some will.  Some will keep showing up.  Some will keep pushing play.  Some will push forward even though there are 1,000 reasons not to.  And those are the few people that reach their dreams.

DREAM BIG gang!  STAY THE COURSE!  BE CONSISTENT!!!!!
