Coach Training

For those of you on teamRIPPED who are new coaches … or thinking of becoming coaches … these training videos are for YOU!!! Beachbody doesn’t want a bunch of coaches running around who don’t know where to go from the point they sign up.  They … and I … want you to hit the ground running, letting your passion for the programs and your desire to help others succeed translate into a very successful coaching opportunity for you.

Listen to my recent appearance on the Beachbody National Coach Call!  I got to visit with Larry Zimberg and Carl Diakeler (the CEO of this whole crazy thing!!!):

    great vids coach,
i really want to try out being a coach but i feel i need to have a great transformation like you had before i try. I want to have that youtube vid where people are like no-way he did all that in just 90 days then they get interested how i did it etc etc. Is the great transformation a need or does it just help having that as a tool for what works for you. “DO WORK”

    God bless
    Paul Mason

  4. Noel says:

Wow! If I ever needed inspiration to help me make up my mind this sure did it!!

  5. joel says:

WoW! Awesome coach waine! Quick quistion? I live the Netherlands can I become a coach here and help people in the US? Hope so!

  6. Coach Wayne says:

Hey Joel! Unfortunately the coaching opportunity is only available in the US for now. International expansion is one of the top priorities of teambeachbody in 2011, so I will definitely keep everyone posted as new areas open up! (lots of administrative and internatinal red tape that must be done, which is why it isn’t already opened up).

  7. joel says:

Thanks for the super quick reply coach! I figured that it would not be here yet! But I want to get ripped first and learn all I can before the red tape around Holland is lifted. After my first trial of P90X and P90X + I will focus more on becoming a coach! Thanks.

  8. Coach Wayne says:

You are welcome! Check back if you have questions as you get ripped!!! Bring it!

  9. mike says:

hey coach i had a very off and on week three, it is okay to continue week three another week? i feel i drop the ball this week and think i should extend the third week one more week. let me know your thoughts. thanks

    mike

  10. Coach Wayne says:

Hey Mike, if you didn’t have a good week 3, then do it over! Definitely!

  11. mike says:

    thanks coach!

  12. mike says:

This week has killed me. I’m been so off track coach Wayne! I feel like I’ve completely messed the whole 90 day cycle up. I haven’t worked out in almost a week. I’ve just been so under the weather . Should I start all over again or start from week 3. Does being off almost a week do any damage to the process? I continued to eat clean when I could force it down. I’m thinking that I should start from day one all over again ….. help!

    Mike

  13. Coach Wayne says:

Mike, sorry to hear that! You can either pick up where you left off or start over again. It’s up to you — what will keep you the most fired up and motivated. Sounds to me like you want a “redo” — start from Day 1 and go all out. So do that!

  14. mike says:

Really I don’t want to start over if I don’t have to… I will play it based on how I feel when I jump back in to it today. I just pick up some jack3d so ill see how it goes. I got so frustrated the last time I worked legs and back and I had a hard times doing more than seven pullups with the stool . Maybe cause I was starting to get sick. Pullups are my weakness . I feel as if I wasted time using the resistance bands instead of the pull up bar for the first two weeks.

  15. Coach Wayne says:

Don’t be frustrated. Pullups were my weakness when I started out too. Now I can crush them!!! It just takes practice!

  16. Mike says:

Well ok its begining of week 6 and I still cant do that many pullups , granted I could only do one when I started and now I can do 4 . I thought I’d be able to do more by this time. Whats your advice coach? I was thinking about adding a weighted vest. your thoughts on what I should do. I’m I panicking to soon?

  17. Coach Wayne says:

Hey Mike, if you can only do 4 unassisted pullups, you definitely are not ready for a weighted vest! Watch my YouTube video called “Pull up Tips” to watch my advice!

  18. Mike says:

I have watched your video and I figured that was my next move. So your saying I should stay with 15 with the stool until I can do how many unassisted pullups?

  19. Coach Wayne says:

Hey Mike, force yourself to do 15 reps to build your strength and stamina on pull ups, with the stool (or combo of unassisted and stool), until you can do 15 unassisted. Then, you can consider adding weight to make it harder and lower your reps back into the 10-12 range. But for now, getting lots of reps is the key to building strength.

  20. Mike says:

Thanks a lot coach Wayne as always good advice. I’m like you 6’0 220lbs with long arms. It’s been hard not seeing the improvement yet.

  21. Coach Wayne says:

Yes Mike, it is hard for us long-armed guys, but it just makes it more impressive when we master it!

  22. Brett Lindstrom says:

    Hi Coach Wayne,

Exploring my new coach website at team beachbody and it’s definitely not as good as your teamripped website…apparently I can’t blog unless I upgrade to a club membership. Can you tell me more info about setting up a website/blog like yours? Thanks!

  23. Coach Wayne says:

Yes Brett, you have to be a Club Member to blog on teambeachbody. I’ll send you an email with more info on doing a custom website like mine.

  24. Brett Lindstrom says:

Thanks Coach Wayne! I took a look at the powerpoint presentation and it looks like I might need to wait until summer (5 more weeks of teaching) to have the time to put together my own website. By the way, did you use a theme from elegantthemes for your website, and if so which one.

I might just start a free blog to practice writing some of the ideas I had and maybe start directing some potential customers that way.

  25. Coach Wayne says:

Hey Brett, yes, this website theme is from Elegant Themes (Quadro Pro). Hope that helps!

  26. Carl J says:

Woooooow this sure motivated the heck outta me! I’m signing up. One question though Coach Wayne, do you need to have a club membership in order to write blogs? Thanks in advance.

  27. Carl J says:

Disregard that Coach, I just read the Brett’s question..I see that you answered that already…Sweet! =-)

  28. James says:

i really cant wait for beachbosy to open the coaching doors to Canadians…. any iea when thats gonna happen Wayne?

  29. Coach Wayne says:

Hey James, that’s what they are working on as we speak, but no new developments to pass along yet. I will definitely keep everyone updated!

  30. James says:

awesome, i really want to be a coach, and hopefully make it into the teamripper coaching group :D

  31. James says:

    hahha teamripped! not ripper..lol

  32. Chad says:

    Coach Wayne,

How does the business affect unemployment if I am laid off from my full time job?

  33. Coach Wayne says:

Hey Chad, I suppose it depends on your income with your full time job, why you were laid off and the circumstances around it, and whatever laws you have in your state. I can’t even guess, but I would imagine that you would still be able to collect unemployment if you lose a full time job even if you are doing this on the side.

  34. Bernard Doria says:

Hey coach, man this phase 2 of p90x is kicking my butt! Is it normal to feel like you’ve gotten somewhat weaker in strength for phase 2? I feel like I can barely get through the phase 2 workouts… like my muscles are totally confused. Any insight to weeks 5, and six would be great! Aloha.

  35. Coach Wayne says:

Hey Bernard, that’s perfect! That’s the point of the workout switch — to totally force you into muscle confusion with new workouts that feel incredibly hard all over again. Keep bringing it!

  36. Bernard D. says:

Thanks coach, im in week six now doing “classic, because I read somewhere on here that all you do is classic”, did yoga today, felt much more stronger than week 5, which felt identical to week one! Im getting a better handle on dialing in my nutrition as well. This site should be added to your “coach must haves” section because this site gets a lot of us through the day, in my opinion. All the best!

  37. Paul says:

    Hi Wayne,

Great site first of all, very informative.

Is Beachbody coaching available in Canada? I asked this question to two other coaches with no reply? I am curious to know since all the exercise programs are available here at retail stores?

    Thanks
    Paul

  38. Coach Wayne says:

Hey Paul, no it is not … Yet! Canada will be first to open up in the second part of 2012. Read my article “Canada Mexico Coaching” for more details. Hope that helps!

  39. natureboy says:

Hey Coach Wayne, do you still have live webinar opportunity presentations?

    Thanks

  40. Coach Wayne says:

Hey Nate, if you want to plug into a webinar opportunity presentation email me and I’ll get you some info.
